    the market seems to have forgotten about risk in the Middle East (Iran's nuclear ambition, Syria's civil war, growing violence in Iraq)

    geopolitical risk premium is very low

    Hindi nga ito sa lugar namin. Buti nalang i pass that area (Fairview) once or twice a week so dyan na rin ako nagpapagas. P 2.50 to P 3.00 cheaper than the usual and so far parang walang daya naman sa fuel quality or quantity based on my FC figures.

    OT: bat nga ba ang mura ng gas dyan? bihira lumagpas ng 50 petot ung mga premium gas dyan.

    I have no idea kung ba't mas mura dyan but with the next round of price increases, for sure over P 50 na ang premium. Usually may duda ako sa mga murang station (mas mabilis maubos yung gas ko, mas maraming kelangan ikarga, poor quality, etc.) but in the case of the Petron Fairview i gas up in, walang pagkakaiba sa ibang stations na maayos so far (have not tried their diesel though). There's a Petron station near my place but i rarely gas up there as i noticed my FC with the fuel from there doesn't seem to be too good (i usually get .5 to 1km/L less).

    forecast is 6AM Tuesday, this is going to be the 6th price hike, the last five was always on a Tuesday 6AM

    nung monday pa ako nag pa full tank bro CVT, expected ko na kasi ang price hike... and now we're back on the 50++ range on shell fuelsave

    Tuesday 6AM = price hike
    Saturday 12AM = price roll back

    basis for hike/roll back = weekly crude oil price + weekly USD to PHP exchange rate

    mahirap kumita ng pera, dapat mag tipid!

    based on my observation

    study the weekly movement of crude oil prices and the USD to PHP exchange rate...

    if one of them goes up... expect a price hike announcement on the news sunday 6PM onwards till monday, because the effective price hike date is Tuesday 6AM

    if one of them goes down... expect a price roll back announcement thursday 6PM onwards till friday, because the effective roll back takes effect saturday 12AM

    di naman sudden changes ang dalawang values, they both move very slowly... tipid tipid din sa gas pag may time

    ^ yun nga masakit. Pero kapag nagtuloy-tuloy decline ng crude oil, baka ma-negate naman appraisal ng dollar sa peso. So sana wala ngayong weekend.
