Meeting in Algeria will certainly result to no agreement. With this oil price will be somewhat low.

    Low fuel price for consumers.

More jobs affected in the oil & gas industry.

They've been working on a coordinated production cut for a long time. Iran won't cut production. They need all the revenue they can get. They most likely will produce more in the short term. Cuts will only work if everybody does it at the same time.

Time for news channels to change their spiel re: fuel hikes. From the hikes being due to price increases in the world market to the peso-dollar rate instead.

Bro they were divided earlier. Kasi they were worried of the market share.

Now theyre on their knees. SA offered cuts so others will follow. Russia also offered if the opec members agree on cuts.

Usa shale producers are just laughing. If they do agree on cuts. Shale will boom again.

So Opec top producer is saying they will cut 500k barrels if others cut also.

Basically its begging for money now... tomorrow is D day.

If Opec members decide to cut... bye bye low fuel prices.

Here at Riyadh right now mararamdaman na namin yung effect ng oil prices, Saudi gov't started to cut minister's salaries up to 20% , no more bonuses ,no new cars and limited phone bills and will start VAT on 2018..

Brace yourselves. The output cap has been agreed upon.

Fuel prices will go up significantly...

Huge surprise they made a deal. But forecasts remain bearish through 2017:

Also, OPEC members have historically been bad at following quotas. Maybe this will just be another momentary price spike due to sentiment.
