It seems like there is no hope for 50$/barrel now. Barely above 40$ for the time being..

Opec members will have a difficulty of beating shale. With 2$ production cost per barrel in fracking... shale is now competitive with oil from saudirabia.

Saudirabia was stupid in charging much higher in asia back in june. So stupid they lost market share, now theyre giving extra discount for asian customers.

Anyways consumers are somewhat lucky, lower prices next tuesday...

Gasoline prices aren't 100% aligned with crude prices. The cost of refined diesel/gasoline usually lags a little bit compared to crude, especially for gasoline since it's more expensive to refine.

Refined gas/diesel prices aren't available to all. That's actually the basis for the weekly trends, not just the crude oil prices.
