di na ako nagpopost ng brent oil price coz prices of refined products have divorced from the price of crude oil
Traditionally biofuel has been more expensive than crude oil, with the break-even point being around the $100/barrel mark.
What Price of Crude Oil Makes Ethanol Production Profitable? • farmdoc daily
But with crude oil being as expensive as it is now, the biofuel might actually be lowering the price of gasoline. There was a study conducted last year that said increasing the blend to E15 or E20 will result in reduced pump prices as well as some income for our ethanol producers.

According to this source 1/30th reduction in fuel economy from an E10 blend:
Money Matters: Pure Gasoline Or E1 ?
"In AAA's hypothetical analysis, a car getting 30 mpg on 100 percent gasoline would still average approximately 29 mpg on E10."
Theory-wise ethanol has just 65% of the energy contained in the same volume of gasoline, but since it is higher octane modern and high-performance cars can offset some of that reduced energy by running leaner or with higher boost/compression ratios.
If it's an older or non-performance car tuned for regular fuel only the drop in fuel economy will be worse with increasing ethanol content.
Ethanol is hygroscopic.

Oil and gas workers are on strike in Norway, and it’s escalating Europe’s natural-gas crisis a week before a key pipeline with Russia shuts for maintenance | Business Insider
About 15% of Norway's offshore oil and gas workers are members of the Lederne labor union that's on strike, according to Reuters. They are demanding wage increases to deal with rising inflation, which hit 5.7% in May — the highest since 1988, according to Norway's statistics agency.
to slow down inflation, the Fed is engineering a recession in the US to kill demand
