I was referring to 111perez's post about hybrids

    may battery + ICE

Usually kasi walang option to pay for cash mga motorcycle dealers, dapat installment lang and sobra taas ng interest rates. Parang nakabili ka na ng another unit after ma-full payment.

So the DTI required all dealers to give buyers the option to pay in cash.

tiananong ko officemate kong naka nmax. nun sinabi ko bakit di mag credit to cash ng metrobank and bpi, gulat sya na sobrang baba ng rates. problema walang credit history so dealership talaga bagsak nya. ayaw din mag ipon nalang para malaki ang down payment, kahit technically kaya ng sweldo nya makaipon ng 50% dp in 4-6 months ng di nagbago lifestyle.

    nakaka-tuwa ang motorcycles.

ADV and below price range, always available ang units and pwedeng installment.

    As I've said multiple times...

    .
the must-dos in pms are in the car owner's manual.
if it ain't there, it's probably an optional, which the astute car owner may defer on.
i regular defer them, as "it's not in the budget".
the casa service adviser does what i direct, naman.
my usual casa pms bill is less than 5K.
after the warranty, i do the pms at the independent pms provider.

do you know how difficult it is to teach something to someone who knows absolutely nothing about it?
you have to start with the basics.

    pms.
naninigurado yung casa, that the costumer's car may not shudder to a halt in the middle of nowhere.
that is why they replace parts that might not need replacement just yet.
while some car owners are ok with that, others are not.

if the car owner knows next to nothing about cars, the casa is probably his better option.
but if the owner knows considerably more, then he can probably effectively schedule his own maintenance program.

I know everything I need to know about cars (grew up in the PUV business)

but I no longer have the time to personally service my car.
Easiest and best solution for me is to leave the car and go back in the afternoon, kaya no choice but to go to the casa.

Hassle kasi having it done outside.

    well, yes.
i have colleagues who go complete casa, because they do not have the time to do the pms-ing by themselves.
they agree to pay for the convenience, naman.

i guess that is what casa is charging the costumer for: convenience.
    kung baga sa restoran, "ambience".

natatawa na lang sister ko sa akin every time we have conversation about cars...

I grew up maintaining/fixing our cars (yung mga private lang, may mechanics kami for taxis and jeeps)
    washing/waxing/polishing them regularly
    ^ganun siguro talaga kapag eldest

as in nagliliha ako ng contact point kapag naubusan kami ng stock sa house (old school timing kasi yung first car ko in college).

    yes. I'm that old. hahaha

I can't remember if Gas was 12 or 14 pesos per liter when I started driving.
