ito shell talaga kahit kailan pahype at boladas.

bakit naman magbabayad sa kagaguhan mo????

Shell PH customers can now pay an additional P2.50/L to offset their carbon emissions.

if fuel shortage happens after typhoon it can easily be resolved after roads are cleared of fallen trees (fuel trucks can resume delivery to gas stations)

if fuel shortage happens coz the country runs out of dollars to pay for imports that's a whole different problem

    that's far worse than typhoon

having supply is more important than price

mas mabuti ung mataas ang presyo pero meron mabili

    kesa walang mabili

actually ung carbon offset/carbon credits idea yan ng mga environmentalist/treehugger

    mga treehugger na may kapangyarihan

later on we will all be forced to pay carbon tax

It happened because majority of the cities affected by Odette has no electricity.
Only those gasoline stations who has their own generator served at that time so limited lang talaga available gas stations.
As a result, those stations jack up the prices due to long queue.
As early as 5AM nakiline up nga ako nuon, was able to fuel up around 10AM na.

    in my day,
    gas pumps could be hand-cranked.

    aminin natin,
pinagsamantalahan ng sellers ang costumers, that time.

but that's not a real shortage

the fuel is in the storage tanks of gas stations

they just couldn't pump it out coz there's no power

when power is restored things go back to normal

iba ung hindi maka-import ng fuel dahil wala na dollars ang central bank
