This happened to us already, during Odette.
Some stations even had P100/ltr price.

if fuel shortage happens after typhoon it can easily be resolved after roads are cleared of fallen trees (fuel trucks can resume delivery to gas stations)

if fuel shortage happens coz the country runs out of dollars to pay for imports that's a whole different problem

that's far worse than typhoon

gas pumps could be hand-cranked.

but that's not a real shortage

the fuel is in the storage tanks of gas stations

they just couldn't pump it out coz there's no power

when power is restored things go back to normal
