so mababang $ tapos bagsak din gaso. Win win for me.
Kaya tama talaga ginagawa ko my own investigation. Kaya pag kumakain ako sa labas hindi ko ginagalaw binibigay na sauces wala ako tiwala.
Ay dati yung sa don henricos, yung sauce ng buffalo wings charap yun. Matipid sila magbigay and may extra bayad so ginastusan talaga. Thats way back late 90s pa so sobrang tagal matino pa resto.
So as usual tama na naman ako about sa commerical products sa supermarket na peke ingredients. Yung deparment of health dito eh ampaw. Mga spokesperson puro effeminate!!!! Kagalingan right again.
What they meant was there are signatures/markers that diffrentiate whether acetic acid came from natural or synthetic sources. Kind of like there are synthetic and naturally occuring gemstones and how to distinguish them down to the molecular level.

what i meant was,
so what if the vinegar is "synthetic" ?
i read the newspaper article, and i must say, the article left a lot to be desired.
it insinuates indirectly, that synthetic vinegar is potentially un-healthy, to say the least.
in my opinion, synthetic vinegar probably has less non-vinegar impurities than natural vinegar.
i miss the traditional suka vendors in the neighborhood. they would push their wooden cart, laden with giant glass jugs of vinegar, thru the streets. they would siphon the stuff into the costumers' glass bottles.
sa totoo naman, mas malinamnam ang kanilang suka kaysa yung mga de-botelya sa grocery.
Off Topic:
"Is "Acetic Acid" the Same Thing as Vinegar?
A. No. The United States Food & Drug Administration (FDA) recognizes that diluted acetic acid is not vinegar, indicating that it is:
“misleading if the labeling of a food in which acetic acid is used implies or suggests that the food contains or was not prepared with vinegar. Acetic acid should not be substituted for vinegar in pickled foods, which consumers customarily expect to be prepared with vinegar.”
The fermentation of natural sugars to alcohol and then secondary fermentation of alcohol to vinegar is the simple process by which vinegar is made. On the other hand, acetic acid is generally obtained by chemical synthesis of fossil fuel hydrocarbons."

In short, as per US FDA:
"Diluted acetic acid is not vinegar. When used as an ingredient in food, it should be declared by its name, "acetic acid" or "diluted acetic acid"."
Just don't call it vinegar, call it Acetic Acid period.![]()
