Sir Yebo i wasn't referring to you

i was referring to the guy who attributed the price hike to covid tax

    --

i'm aware of covid tax and never confused it with train law

i just didn't mention covid tax coz i think brent's climb to $30 had a larger effect than covid tax

there was even someone who attributed the pump price hike to lifting of ECQ

like come on that's so insignificant

if one's usual source of information is on the blink,
one might hear about something and imaginatively build it up from there...

from the news broadcast i hear from online dzmm just now,
the looming 2 peso fuel increase is via the movement of foreign petroleum activity.
we still have to punch in the additional 1+ peso increase, courtesy of covid tax.

so ung dalawang nakaraang pump price hike was entirely based oil price movement

    NOT COVID TAX

hindi pa pala dinagdag ng mga local oil companies ang covid tax

Saudis make biggest oil price hike in 20 years after OPEC+ cuts | Bloomberg

The steepest jump will hit July exports to Asia, state producer Saudi Aramco’s largest regional market, according to a pricing list seen by Bloomberg. Overall, the increases for Saudi crude erase almost all of the discounts the kingdom made during its brief price war with Russia.

was looking at income/profit sheets of listed companies over the weekend...

    bumagsak na yung smaller/questionable companies.

pero yung bigger/established companies, target na for 2020... majority din sa kanila long voyages na to maximize daily rates.

sakit pa din ng ulo aviation fuel kasi walang mapag-lagyan
