Possible rollback in diesel, kerosene; hike in gasoline prices

    GMA, Sunday, May 24, 2015 8:17AM

Motorists using diesel and kerosene may finally get relief from fuel price hikes in past weeks, though those using gasoline may have to brace for another price hike this week.

GMA News' Julius Segovia cited information from oil industry sources indicating a possible rollback in diesel and kerosene prices by 50 centavos per liter.

However, Segovia said the industry sources hinted at a price hike of 30 centavos per liter for gasoline.

Posibleng rollback sa diesel at kerosene, P0.50/L; OPH naman sa gasolina, baka abutin ng P0.30/L - ayon sa oil industry sources.

In past weeks, oil companies had implemented weekly price adjustments on Tuesdays. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News

Net movement for the month of May has been +2.20 for gasoline, and +1.40 for diesel.

So far though, trend for next week is -0.20 for gasoline and -0.35 for diesel. But take note that this will definitely change as the weekend nears.

Haven't opened my laptop to check the weekend trend.

But early last week, trend was an increase of about +80 cents. However, by Friday the trend went down to only +20 cents.

Bukas na ko magbubukas laptop to confirm the movement. Sunday = rest day hehe.
