so Pnoy, i still support you even though i never wanted you to become President. given na talaga yan you have to stay sa Malacanang. i believe that's the curse as well as your source of power bec. Malacanang is the symbol of leadership of our land.

Tsk tsk. Hangover lang ng election drama yan.

As to what I've been thinking about the present admin, it's the same thinking majority of Filipinos want, no wang-wang along edsa, having confidence that you will be given attention if you complain..simple things entirely forgotten by the previous administration. I'm feeling great having this administration.

PNoy is lucky that his political goodwill is still intact among the masa despite his team's missteps kaya mataas pa rin approval rating niya. Among the influentials, mukhang marami nang fallout. If he doesn't do anything about those bumbling cabinet and staff members, that fallout is bound to trickle down.

Iniisip ko na lang, if he didn't win, we'd have to contend with Erap all over again.

Sino ata yung officials who "boozes" too much?

On Target: The President’s advisers are legal pygmies
    By Ramon Tulfo
    Philippine Daily Inquirer
    First Posted 23:09:00 12/08/2010

THE SUPREME Court was correct in declaring as unconstitutional President Benigno Aquino III’s Executive Order No. 1 creating the Truth Commission.

EO 1 violates the equal protection clause of the Constitution.

Admittedly, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s administration was corrupt, but why single her out when other administrations—like Joseph Estrada’s—was just as corrupt?

Even during the time of President Aquino’s mother, Cory, some of her underlings and relatives were allegedly so corrupt they earned the title “Kamag-anak Inc.”

The other former presidents and those who served under them should also have been included in the ambit of the Truth Commission.

    ***

President Aquino cannot be faulted for issuing Executive Order No. 1 because he’s not a lawyer.

The blame for EO 1 lies with his advisers.

Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago was right when she called them “lightweights” or legal pygmies.

    ***

Experts say too much drinking not only dulls the senses but the intellect as well.

If only some of the President’s advisers would reduce the frequency of their “boozing” to once a month instead of every night, perhaps they would have better judgment and discernment.

Then they won’t again embarrass the President by giving wrong advice.

Or the people will be fed up with the Aquinos and the Marcoses will return to power in the next election.
    :vader:

And the Marcos Loyalists will say: "At last we will reveal ourselves to the Filipinos. At last we will have revenge."

the funny thing is, here's the sequence of events:

sa mga events na nangyari (huli Morong 43, press releases by PNoy admin, press statements by Jalandoni, press statements by De Lima... ) parang lumalabas na totoo nga talagang NPA/CPP yung grupo...

political decision yung pag release sa kanila...

yung kay Trillanes et. al... political decision din...

hmmm.... so basta hindi corrupt... pwede na gawin lahat ng political decisions?

tingin ko.. lilipas din yung high trust rating ni PNoy.. let's see what happens then...

tama yung sinasabi PNoy is like his mother -- puro revenge

PNoy gave amnesty to the Trillanes group not coz he sympathizes with them

He gave them amnesty to spite Arroyo

it's like PNoy saying to Arroyo -- "F-you! i'm releasing the people who wanted to remove you from power"

    it's politics

everyone else is just a pawn to the powers-that-be

pero syempre, sa pananaw ng madami, walang magawang mali si PNoy

there's still strong public perception that he's Mr. Clean

PNoy net satisfaction rating improves: SWS
    http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/nation/12...g-improves-sws
MANILA, Philippines - President Benigno Aquino's net satisfaction rating improved 4 points in the past 2 months, according to the results of the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

The survey, conducted last November 27-30 and first published in BusinessWorld, showed 74% of respondents saying they were satisfied with Aquino’s performance compared to only 10% who were dissatisfied.

The survey said Aquino had a net satisfaction score of +64, higher than the +60 rating in September.

SWS said Aquino’s ratings rose across most geographical areas, except in Metro Manila. In Balance Luzon, net satisfaction for Aquino improved from +65 to +69; in Visayas, from +54 to +56; and Mindanao, from +52 to +65.

On the other hand, Aquino's net satisfaction rating dropped from +66 to +59 in Metro Manila.

Net satisfaction for the President dropped a point among total urban respondents (+62 to +61) while improving 9 points among total rural respondents (+58 to +67).

Class ABC respondents gave Aquino an improved net satisfaction rating of +75 while Class D respondents gave Aquino an improved +63 rating. Satisfaction among Class E respondents for Aquino was unchanged at +64.

The SWS survey polled 1,200 adults nationwide via face-to-face interviews. The sampling error margins are +/-3% for national and +/-6% for area percentages.
