Vote based on platform and competence.

This is why I have not voted for any President.

But in my book, GMA is the best president our country ever had.

Di ba bumaligtad rin si Enrile. From Macoy to Cory? Or you haven't read that part of our history?

Of course. Enrile is a political butterfly par excellence. He even supported PNoy before he was jailed because of Napoles. Whoever's in power, expect Enrile to be there behind him when it is in his best interest to do so. Of course, that means, he is now a Duterte supporter.

si enrile pa. eh iniwan niya na nga iyong paramour at prodigy niya naka kulong ngayon.

anyhow, this whole thread is predicated towards the eventual departure of duterte and his cohorts. but what if he doesn't want to step down? the whole shift to the new federal constitution seems to be indicating otherwise especially the way his closest henchmen are floating the idea of no-el for a "smoother" transition.

you seriously asking me? or is that a rhetorical question?

it's not really a marcosian strategy. it's more like benito mussolini-esque set of tactics . everything he's been doing so far seems to be taken off the page of mussolini's handbook for dictatorship. but if he's not careful - and he obviously isn't, he might go the way of mussolini who ended up on the business end of a piano wire ... right side up.
