i still don't know which party-list to choose and vote for.

what i do know is which partylist groups not to vote for:

    Bayan Muna
    Gabriela
    Anak Pawis

i will never go for groups whose agenda is far from democratic (just read between the lines)

for one they are already listed parties in congress but they still have this propensity to clog our streets with their constant rallying, shouting, vandalizing, bullying, destroying ad nauseum.

they already have a voice (actually, many voices) in congress. why still shout in the streets?

and i can't help but wonder where all their millions of congressional funds go.

In UP, there are hardcore activists.
In Mendiola, there are hard-line militants.
In Congress, there are partylist representatives.

Apparently though, there are no communists in the Philippines.

In all seriousness though, I second the motion.

hmmm the partylists today defeat the purpose of having a partylist. most of them panggulo lang eh... Its like if you're not with us you're against us...

party list system was supposed to be for representation by the marginalized sector of society. From the existing party lists, who are those that fall within that definition? Even those mentioned: bayan muna, gabriela, etc., what do they represent and the bigger question is: DID THEY REALLY REPRESENT THE MARGINALIZED SECTOR during their stint in congress? All I heard from Bayan Muna is rally, rally, rally. What do you expect when your representative is Ocampo and Ted Casino, who has made being an activist a profession.

Show me a party list that truly represent the marginalized sector, both their representative and their platform, and that party list will get my vote. As of now, my party list will have one big DASH written, a.k.a. NO VOTE FOR PARTY LIST.

I'd vote for Bayan Muna (again), as I've done in the past two elections.

This government needs people like them to keep it on its toes. There is a disturbing dictatorial slant to this government's policies which is so sickening. Look at how they treat Binay. I am no supporter of the guy but these suspension things are pure harassment. Alam nilang matatalo si Lito Lapid so they try to get to the guy some other way.

The opposition may be fairly useless and yelling too much, but at least they keep the government on the defensive. If no one was constantly criticizing the government, God knows what GMA and her cronies would be up to by now.

I won't vote for any party list this time. I made the stupid mistake of being sympathetic to them when I felt that they are fighting for a cause but they turn out to be looking at their own selfish agenda.

    I'll pass.
