Yari din mga senators sa decision nila.

Kung guilty vertict... Means, in favor sila na dapat lahat lahat ng assest ilabas.

Kung not guilty vertict... Means pareho sila ng gawain ng cj.

Eto imo ang makikita ng public.

Hindi madadali si Corona. A guy who can take a nap in front of national TV has balls of steel. May alas sya kitang-kita sa mukha Nya. No signs of fear, stress or tension. For show LNG naman yun doctor. Though for the wrong reasons, Im starting to admire this guy.

tumalab kaya ang trial by publicity ni PNoy and the Senate. How can we really prosecute a guy who lived it all of his life. we are the ones in his backyard. Tsk Tsk. Sayang Lang oras and resources ng gobyerno, for what para habulin Lang ang 2.4m and 80M? I'm sure since the start of this fiasco, the govt must have spent half of that already. nalagyan na ng cap. 160M ain't enough if ever manalo man prosecution, kulang pa hatian nila yun

you have a very shallow understanding of this historical events like corona. it's not just about the money...it's about the moral thing that corona, gloria, erap and marcos did to this country. marcos stole billions and nobody was jailed...everyone think they can also do it because the marcoses are free and enjoying their lives and their stolen money...the same thing happened to erap and gloria....the cycle goes on and on and it get even worse and worse. you probably enjoy seeing this (public servant making the record lowest of low) happening to your country and to your children (if you have).

IMO, $2.4M + Php80M vs. Php3.5M declared SALN should be enough to remove Corona from office. It is clearly a sign of deceit and he is hiding something. Kung malinis naman ang pinagkunan ng salapi, he could always defend it and have a clear conscience when he declared it to his SALN. The amount declared is too tiny it is microscopic compared to his huge deposit accounts in his bank.

yung na nga ang problema eh.. since marcos wala na ginawa ang gobyerno kung di maghabol....

nasa atin din naman ang solusyon eh... bawasan lang ang GREED eh ayos na.. and look forward on how to bring the Filipinos out of poverty... for the government to be successful, everyone must take part... eh kaso dyan lang tayo magaling.. pag may issue gusto lahat makisawsaw....

Kung ang President, VP, Senate President and House Speaker, (who all rank above the Thief Justice in terms of presidential succession) ay hindi gumagamit ng wang-wang, siya pa.

It would be pathetic na he's acting as if he has a grave medical condition now, pero pag na-acquit siya (wag sana!!!), he would be again in the pink of health!

    Sic transit gloria mundi.

if the judicial system is not corrupt...the marcoses and all those who looted the country should have been jailed...gets mo ba yan? but no one was jailed because the poeple who are supposed to do the right thing are the ones doing the worst things. now pnoy is trying to correct that past mistakes by starting with big fish but people like you would rather concentrate on very small things like filling in your own stomach.

Senate will convict Chief Justice Corona: analyst

MANILA, Philippines – The Senate will likely convict Chief Justice Renato Corona on Article 2 of the impeachment complaint and affirm the Constitution's superiority over the foreign currency deposit law, a political analyst said Friday.

Prof. Jun Salipsip of the Institute of Strategic and International Studies and the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines said he observed senator-judges raising the issue of the Constitutional requirement that government officials disclose all of their assets, liabilities, and net worth.

"Based on the questions of the senators (to Corona), it seems that they will base their decision on the Constitution," Salipsip told ANC.

Article 2 of the impeachment complaint against Corona accuses him of failing to disclose all of his assets and liabilities as required by the Constitution and as provided for by law, Section 8 of Republic Act 6713, or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.
