So far so good dito sa amin, the only glitch was the machine ran out of thermal paper but naayos rin.
I read that there are really those who shaded 14 senators instead of just 12 and are now complaining of invalidated ballots?

You think mag-iimprove pag tax payers lang ang boboto?
Dami kong ka-opisina mga bumoto kay Duts. Subukan lang daw pwede namang i-impeach pag palpak. May isa pa last Friday lang nalaman na eleksyon pala ngayong Lunes kaya walang pasok.
While I do agree to some extent na paying taxes should give us this perk, my point is it's not a guarantee na bubuti ang selection ng leaders. Daming so-called working class na tagilid mag-isip. Dito lang sa tsikot makikita mo na eh.
Currently here in Marilao Bulacan, a number of VCMs conked out.
They opted na collect the ballots na lang then sila na lang mag feed sa machine later.
Tiwala na lang.
Wow!

Duterte's stooges are in the lead as per unofficial quick count, although Bam and Mar are in.
I think partial pa lang iyan, but it still goes to show that we don't seem to learn at all.
Looks like Erap's reign in Manila is over.
While suffrage being made exclusive to taxpayers sounds good and justified, the downside of enacting such policy in this country is that a huge amount of people will be excluded. There's a lot of minimum wage earners and they don't contribute anymore because of the recent tax reform. Add to that the students, the people in marginalized sectors and also the unemployed ones. Having that kind of policy will cause a massive divide which could potentially lead to a violent revolution and no one wants that hence the need to maintain inclusivity.![]()
