I should correct myself, Namfrel was the one who withdrew because Comelec didn't grant access to important data. But by all intents and purposes it means the same thing really.

Comelec spokesperson had this to say:

“One of the main points of automation is that the results come out very quick and it’s coming from a singular source. I guess perhaps one of the concerns is that what happens if you have two competing sources of election information?”

How can there be two competing sources of information if the singular source of data is Comelec?
