    Sense of Urgency...

In the face of the surge in COVID-19 cases, Pampanga announced a "household lockdown" which was immediately and stringently implemented since 12:01 AM today.

Also, today, a caravan of about 50 vehicles went around the province.

No, not to distribute food packs or health kits to the Pampangeņos who are worst affected by the pandemic.

No, not to bring PPEs to the frontliners who are overwhelmed anew due to this resurgence.

No, not even to disseminate helpful tips and information on how to help arrest the spread of the virus.

They had that long caravan (complete with loudly-played jingles) for an insidious and extremely ill-timed intent. To urge Sara to run. Kuno.

Majority of COVID-19 loans not used for pandemic response - Bulatlat

To date, the government acquired 27 loans, worth more than P700 billion (US$15 billion), to aid in its response against COVID-19. However, our research showed that only around P60 billion (US$1.2 billion), or a measly nine percent, was intended for projects which were made to address the health crisis in the country.
