PTT alleged that the DICT changed the terms after the bid docs were released.

In my mind though...afaik ISM doesn't have that much existing infra, while the other contenders already do. Wouldn't be surprised if ISM will partner or acquire the losers. Kinda hard to tell who would have the upper hand in negotiations though, pahabaan ng pisi yan.
Can't be a telco player without a foreign partner. Those are the reasons why SMC Telco and Sun got sold.

We're probably being surveilled on right now. But it's one thing to accept the facts of life, it's a whole different matter to bend over and invite the intrusion.
My boss in the US called me this morning and the caller ID showed a number from China. I cut the connection immediately and used skype to call him back. Was that normal or are we already being serviced by China?

My laptop's cam has a small post it note cover, and the PC's is turned towards he wall with an old sock on top of it. They're only open on an "as needed" basis. The house CCTV systems aren't connected to the net either.

Nothing's foolproof, but you can make it harder for the nasties to pick on you

I've read that launch computers on US ICBMs are on an analog system, and still use 5 1/4 floppy disks for security reasons. I guess that rules out Google... evolving into "Skynet" then using the nukes to start Judgment Day

ZTE and Huawei hehe. Grabe kasi kamura vs Nokia, Siemens, Ericsson etc.

Oracle confirms China Telecom internet traffic 'misdirections' | ZDNet

"Oracle confirms China Telecom internet traffic 'misdirections'

Oracle's Internet Intelligence division partially confirms controversial US Naval War College research paper.
    Catalin Cimpanu"

"But today, Doug Madory, Director of Oracle's Internet Analysis division (formerly Dyn), confirmed that China Telecom has, indeed, engaged in internet traffic "misdirection."

"I don't intend to address the paper's claims around the motivations of these actions," said Madori. "However, there is truth to the assertion that China Telecom (whether intentionally or not) has misdirected internet traffic (including out of the United States) in recent years."

"I know because I expended a great deal of effort to stop it in 2017," Madori said.

He then goes on to detail several of China Telecom's BGP route "misdirections," most of which have involved hijacking US-to-US traffic and sending it via mainland China before returning it to the US."

^ Actually a few months back, my mother was asking if my tita was touring China, as her number would appear to be coming from there when she was actually on a completely different continent. Akala ko glitch lang..the you read something like this.

And here we are, holding the door wide wide open for the wolf to come in. Enjoy the surveillance, all you 16M fools.

Amado S. Cruz- Miss Earth DOM

Birds of the same feather flock together...

    Miss Guam Exposed
"Harassment" From Pinoy Sponsor "Amado S. Cruz"

At the Manila Yacht Club, Amado S. Cruz ensured that the team managers and security personnel were separated in another room, this is where he made many girls uncomfortable. A groups of us left the room because we felt uncomfortable, but Amado S. Cruz followed us and insisted that we stayed inside to dance with him. We asked our team managers to bring us to the busses, which took over 20 minutes for them finally to do. Later on that night *missjaimeyvonne and *Miss.Earth.England spoke on the phone with Lorraine Schuck, the Vice President of Miss Earth, who assured them that Amado S. Cruz would not be at any other event. From the moment the pageant started until coronation night, Amado S. Cruz was at every event and dinner he could physically get to. Since other delegates have posted, multiple other queens from past years have come out about the same behavior. I want to help put a stop to this sponsor being apart of the Miss Earth International Pageant because he has become a problem for years.

Amen to that, sir. China never had it so easy. Philippines willingly and voluntarily digging its own grave.

    Very plausible.
All it takes is to announce a more specific then route it back to the net as intended. You know, the internet is a not so perfect place as it is. Once packets are in [emoji630], deep pack3t inspection now occurs provided by the H brand.

May consultant nga na chinese national eh.

That's Xi Jinping with direct access to Malacaņang.

I wonder ano history ni Duts bakit bangong bango sya sa mga Intsik!? Has he been like this when he was still a mayor of Davao? Re close ties with China? Or only now that he has almost absolute power in the country? And ano kaya ang kapalit? Ano binigay o pinangako sa kanya to focus only on everything China?

    Walang poreber hehehe

I wonder, kung totoo yung sinasabi nung mga contestant na nag reklamo, they said kinausap nila yung organizer, Ms Shuck ba yun after the incident in yacht club. And as per kwento, they requested na si DOM eh dapat wala na sa mga events nila until awarding night. Kaso even after the yacht club incident, all events including the awarding night andun pa rin sya.

Kung hindi pumutok tong balita na to i guess next year andun pa rin yan si Mr DOM.

Nevermind the security concerns. Think about the local unemployment rate. How many Filipinos don't have jobs? Jobs mean votes. I thought politicians love votes?
