There aren't enough buses as it is during rush hour. They're all overflowing, as it is... standing room only.

You first need to rationalize the bus services and schedules, increase the number of buses, limit the number of passengers per bus and decrease turn-around time. Then perhaps you can add another hundred thousand passengers to the half-a-million commuters taking the combined bus-MRT service on EDSA.

I don't know what this guy is talking about. From the time I was chief-of-staff to the time I was elected as congressman, no supporter of ours or persons under our employ was ever killed due to politics. Political differences in our city has always been strictly on the level of difference in policy and style; it has never degraded into the level of physical or violent. That is why it is easy for us to set aside our differences and unite for the common good of Davao and the nation. Actually, if the buses and train system worked well, a lot of people will commute. That's how it was before when the MRT was fairly functioning, even middle managers at our office would leave their vehicles in Trinoma and take the MRT to Makati.
