Rizalito David, who filed a disqualification case against Senator Grace Poe, is running for president.
David and his running mate Albert Alba were the second pair who filed their certificates of candidacy with Commission on Elections' main office in Manila on Monday, the first day of the week-long period for the filing of COC for the 2016 elections.
The first pair was Vice President Jejomar Binay and Senator Gringo Honasan.
David and Alba are running under the Ang Kapatiran party.
In his speech, David said they are aiming to espouse Catholic ways in governance.
He also said he will not file a disqualification case against Poe when she files her COC for the presidency.
David, an unsuccessful senatorial candidate in the 2013 elections, has filed a disqualification case against Poe on the grounds of her citizenship, saying the neophyte senator is not a natural-born Filipino.
The case is currently pending at the Senate Electoral Tribunal. —KBK, GMA News

Nag press con na sya sa Davao. Ayaw daw ng ga anak nya na tumakbo sya. I hope this is just tactics or his children will realize how much the country wants their father to run.
I don't believe Duterte can do to the country what he had done to Davao. Pero he'll try as hell to do what's best for the country. Di tulad ng iba na corrupt or tameme lagi.
