Baka pag umpisahan nga ng flames to sir ah! IMHO, depende lang sa needs. Actually kung isa lang ako parati sa vehicle at wala parati load, at hindi napapadaan sa malubak at flooded roads, then gusto ko pa nga Susuki Swift or the soon-to-be-released Focus CRDi. Pero my actual needs are totally "in-reversed", kasi I have 5 children, always loaded with cargo & goes to a lot of unideal road conditions. So I buy & use the vehicles that I truly need (not the vehicles that I truly want).

I love SUVs! But it will be my day to day driving needs that would dictate which vehicle i would use. So it would be good if i also have a sedan. But if i would only have one vehicle, i'd choose the SUV - Toyota Landcruiser please I'd have the space/ride heigt i would need, when i need it.

Plus, i hate being rear-ended by those dump trucks while i'm in a Picanto

For the anti-SUV people, they have their reasons, and yes some of them are morons...just like some pro-SUV people are morons as well

May nagagalit ba? Locally, parang wala naman ah? If its about the gas consumption, today's engines in SUV's are a lot more efficient than 10 years ago.

my dad and i drive a 5.7 liter v8 hemi AWD suv....kill me. :charot:

i drove 1000kms 2 weeks ago and i averaged 9kms/ liter highway..7 kms/liter city.

not too bad compared to some cars.

hate, because some (not all) suv drivers are thugs. several times i had encountered suvs trying to bully their way on the road. especially those who counterflow or create their own lane and then try to bully their way back to the line. and they always pick on "the little guy in the sedan". i am almost at the conclusion that a good number of suv drivers in the philippines are ex-bus drivers of pascual liner or Partas. ano say nyo?

Hindi naman siguro sila ex-Partas/Pascual drivers. Baka naman may-ari ng Santrans.

I'm not really into SUV's myself, but I don't hate them. I'm a hatchback guy.

di ko maintindihan some hate suv's but they're ok with a small car - i mean both emit the same waste... just in different amounts. why not just hate all fossil fuled vehicles right?

lets just all bike, run, swim or walk great cardio work out too hehehe
