Ang hesitation ko sa approach na to sir is luma lang ang kaya ma install na Waze. Sa Android Auto, kung anong version ang nasa phone mo, yun ang magagamit mo sa Android Auto. Kaso 1 week pa bago dumating yung dongle :'(

Good point sir. Personally, I use my phones's waze and yung headunit purely for music / (video sa trapik)

Good day friends!

I started a new record of my "mileage" in Fuelly.com. I've always done this for all my cars. Fuelly having no means to accept electric vehicles, I am using Liters for KWH and price per KWH instead of price per Liter.

I will do this every time my electric bill arrives to get current electric price.

Dongfeng Nanobox's stock horn is quite wimpy. I upgraded to better Hella horns

My wife was surprised to see an orange "wrench" icon on the dashboard:



Upon using Google Lens to translate:



Sadly, casa has no idea how to clear that "warning" symbol

They tell me 1st PMS is after 3 months and I hope by then they have the tools to handle such minor irritations

Good point sir. Personally, I use my phones's waze and yung headunit purely for music / (video sa trapik)

Sige sir kung success yung dongle, kung pwede paki share dito yung steps in using it.

Success yung dongle!! meron na ako Android Auto sa head unit natin!!

Process was very simple:

1. plug the dongle sa provided USB port
2. wait for the device to be detected, then go to file explorer, and launch the "helper" apk file. This will launch the installer and download necessary files to install the "Autokit". The Autokit is what you click from the headunit's launcher to open Android Auto.
3. connect the phone to the dongle's bluetooth (and make sure WiFi is also ON)
4. That's it!

Yun nga lang, hindi ganun ka smooth yung UI refresh, laggy sya. Not sure ano yung cause nung lag, was thinking yung USB interface? or baka too low spec'd yung head unit natin talaga. Pero super useful talaga sya, lalo na't working na ang Google Assistant ngayon properly, saka yun nga, meron na ako Google Maps or Waze ngayon sa Head unit!

Bonus na rin yung nakaka basa na rin ako ng messages saka nakaka reply using Google Assistant. Much better na rin yung UI para sa spotify, makakapili na nag album from the UI, and makikita yung graphics ng mga songs

Yes it is. Siguro sa China PMS is after 30 days

Kaso maski ipasok ko sya today, casa can't clear the "warning"
much less what it means

I guess these are the pains of first adopters

Nagkaroon na din ako nyan, nawawala din yang alert pag pinindot dun sa button for instrument cluster pero nandun pa rin yung wrench. I asked the dealership about it kung pwede na bang dalhin for PMS, sabi ng agent, after 5K na lang daw.

Good for you Sir! It means meron na paraan dito sa 'Pinas. Kahit siguro manghiram lang casa dito sa San Fernando Pampanga from Alabang pwede na. So far ang alam ko 2 palang kami meron Nanobox dito

Dashcams provide evidence in case of front collision. Mine did not have a rear recoding camera. Luckily, Dongfeng Nanobox head unit has Android OS and allows for a cheap USB camera to be used.

Add steering wheel remote buttons. This "hack" will also work on all android head units that have USB ports. It is non invasive and will not void warranty
