not all dunlops. daming suv dunlops na walang problems
lets just say mga low profiles have bigger probabilities of having bulging issues especially on bad roads. mga 45s and 50s. I have experienced both on different brands 😅

Tire rotation should be done at regular intervals so there is even wear and tear and all 4 tires can be replaced at the same time ... got baffled as to why there are people who just change 2 tires at a time ...
Thanks for the suggestion bro. I had the predecessor (LM703) on my Altis before. Not grippy for me. Just an ordinary road tire. Even Dunlop doesn't classify the LM704 as a UHP, just a touring tire.
Doesn't really fit my needs since I need a grippy tire (minimim is the Kumho Ecsta LE Sport that I'm currently using). So I'm only looking at UHPs and above.
By grippy I mean something that can easily take Kennon's corners at 80-100 kph. The Kumho obliges with very linear progression to its limit of grip, and it makes enough noise to warn you when you're getting close.
I had bukols on the Dunlop SP Sport 01 before which were the stock tires of our 10th gen Altis. That was just a 205/55R16 tire, not really low profile.

If you are willing to shell out 30 to 40k, try contisport contact6. Or pirelli p zeros.
Yeah, the 704s are classified as touring tyres lang pero i am happy with it. And it's cheap. Hehe

How about Bridgestone RE003 or S001's? They're also in the 30-40K+ range.
i consider 55s low profile too 😅
looks over sidewalls 🤧

If I would splurge I'd get the Potenza RE003 which I have on my other car. Really grippy but tread life isn't very good. Another option is the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 which has both grip and longevity.
I got the Kumhos for roughly the same price as Dunlop 704s (5.5k per tire). The GT SX2 which is a grippier tire is also roughly the same price - I'm just a bit concerned about road noise and longevity that's why I didn't get GTs the last time around.

Yes bro I have the RE003 on my Mazda 3. Really nice tires although my Mazda doesn't see as much mountain roads as the Civic so hindi ko nasusulit.
My only concern with the RE003 is its longevity. 240 tread wear vs 280 on my current Kumho (which looks like it will last almost as long as my old 2233 which had a treadwear rating of 400).

Was eyeing that one too before kaso out of stock. Haha my friend has it on his 86. 20k in and 3mm left on his tread. Haha
Pwede! There's also dunlop's spotmaxx line, goodyear's eagle line, and yokohama's advan.

I'll be on the lookout for deals for you bro. I got my GR-90's at a good price when the GR-100 came out. They usually clear their stocks of the old patterns when a new one comes out. If you don't mind production dates 2-3 years older than present. With the distance you cover I don't think they'll last you more than 2 years anyway hehe.
Respectfully disagree. Happened to me and nothing serious happened as long as you dont panic. The cause of understeer is panic braking when it happens.

mostly highway miles bro. I had a good deal on them too hence lowering the numerator.
each z-rated tire cost me 3360😉
