    Peace of mind.

And nakasanayan na din, kasi where i lived before (about 2km away from blumentritt, manila) you can easily trade your used tires for brand new tires at very reasonable price.

Oh no, baligtad yata paniwala ko all this time. I always put older tires at the rear. I've always thought Mas may tendency mag flip over yung car if pumutok yung harapan. Guess I need wheel rotation soon.

If you always drive at highway speeds and/or on twisting roads, new tires goes to the REAR.

If you predominantly drive in Metro Manila, new tires in FRONT.

The assumption here is that, in either cases, the old tires are still road-worthy.

Tire gets replaced and the new tire will have a warranty again, same procedure later...

This is being wise in a negative sense ... it's taking advantage of goodwill ...

Do I need new tires? | When to change tires | Michelin US
This is correct ... 6 years is for the average person who doesn't really take care of their vehicle ... it's same concept as change oil every 10,000 kms or 12 months ...

anyway, for top quality tires like michelin i'd feel comfortable using them up to 10yrs from manufacturing date, as long as there's absolutely no damage

You should see how people in the U.S. can't even spell ...
