I try to rotate my tires regularly so that they will all need replacing at the same time. If I need to replace only 2, I put them up front, just personal preference. I find that they scrub in faster up front. But I drive as though it were a new car with brakes that haven't been broken in.

If I suspect I may have misalignment up front I put them in the rear.
