    A lot of coolants already have built-in ultraviolet dye.

    You just need an ultraviolet lamp.

    It happens on the Outlander, too (the late fan)? Might just be precautionary programming in the ECU, then, unrelated to the problem.

    red food coloring will do the trick... mura pa.

    have you checked you radiator cap? just happened to my hiace, 3/4 ang temp. tapos mga isang tabo ang nadagdag na tubig every morning... changed the rad cap.... back to normal na

    Have taken into consideration your inputs sirs, thanks. I failed to bring the car to the casa dahil color coding pero I took some observations right after arriving home.

    Turned the engine on and just rode the car around the village to warm it up. After mga 5 mins. siguro ung temp.gauge nag-3/4 na naman. So balik agad ng bahay. THEN, ung pagpatay ng makina tapos aabot pa ng mga 10 secs. bago mamatay ung fan? Lumala ngaun... kasi nung naobserve ko ung delay sa shutoff ng fan, pagkalagay ng susi sa ON ng ignition uli, di naman umaandar. Ngayon di pa umaandar ung makina, nasa ON lang ung susi, pero umiikot na agad!

    Ung power window naman na naindicate, normal ba un or hindi? Kasi saken ganun din.

    Isa pa, pano ba tignan via UV lamp? Inilawan ko kasi kanina, pagkailaw... ano ba dapat makikita? Ung nakita ko kasi may pagkaneon ung kulay, then may isang part na pure black lang talaga ung kulay niya (kumbaga sa kaha ng sasakyan, ung buo kulay neon sabay ung hood kulay black). Ano po kaya ibig sabihin nun?

    hindi nga normal yan. yung lancer ko, when we went to subic, di nagbabago temperature readings. nasa 1/2 lang sya (which is the normal temp), and the aircon is in full blast.

    Guys, sorry for the delayed update.

    Sent the car to the casa since Tuesday pa (day after coding), and kahapon lang narelease ung findings ng casa (kesyo raw maraming tinanggal et al) so kahapon lang din ako nanotify regarding the situation.

    Most of your guesses were right, UNFORTUNATELY. Why? Eto report saken:

    1x replace thermostat
    1x replace fuel gasket
    1x refill all oil levels (perhaps dahil 40t PMS 'to)
    1x replace radiator (di ko narinig mabuti) fan
    check ECU programming
    check tubings

    at marami pang iba... total na singil saken 43K!!! Upon asking kung ba't kelangan palitan ung thermostat (dahil nga masyado pang maaga), sabi kesyo raw aftermarket nakalagay (hello?! Sa kanila ko lang dinadala ang sasakyan ko!), ung fan nung tinanong ko kung baka naman nakarekta, sagot saken di raw nila alam... tsk. Sabi ko ung necessary lang muna sa PMS ang gawin. Pagkapullout ko ng unit sa Tuesday baka patignan ko sa ibang shop for 2nd opinion. Hay...

    come to think of it, ako nagrequest na icheck ung mga parts na un... perhaps sinasamantala dahil tingin nila eh kutob ko un ung may mga tama? Wag naman sana...

    Sir un nga eh. I was expecting na they would tell me na papalitan naman dahil under warranty pero the reply I got was kesyo raw "aftermarket" nakalagay... Really weird how that happened. Di naman ako naglalagay ng aftermarket parts sa engine parts ng sasakyan. Mula nung binili 'to sobrang dami ng inconsistencies ng parts niya everytime na dinadala sa casa. Ung trunk motor na nagpapagana ng button sa keyless entry para di na gamitin ung susi "nawala" (ngaun sinisingil pa ko for parts ng mechanism nun kesyo hindi pa raw talaga kasama un sa stock, hello gumagana noon pagkagaling lang po sa inyo tumigil sa paggana), ung headunit ko di na gumana ung changer right-after nung ipa-PMS ko one time (ito buti pinalitan),ung spare tire ko na bagong-bago ung gulong napalitan rin ng pudpod. I dunno, ung mga SA dun oks naman, problem nga lang ata eh di nila minomonitor ung mga gumagawa mismo ng mga sasakyan.

    I know Mitsu is suffering, but they really can't afford to put up with people like that!
