February 24th, 2008 12:06 PM #14have them check if the pad retaining clips were reinstalled properly. baka gumagasgas lang sila on the rotor. possible din may contact yung backing plate sa rotor.

I had it checked again... they checked if everything was installed properly... oks naman. They just cleaned the braking linings - the squeaking sound diminished after the cleaning process (and the stopping power is now adequate).
The mechanic also rolled the vehicle (while it was in the lifter) with the front tires out... wala kaming marinig na squeaking sound... pero on the road may konti pa din.

Dapat kasi may load pag niliko yun tires. Need siguro lagyan ng brake paste yun pads. Ganyan din yun W124 ko. Pag nilinis palagyan ko ng brake paste.

Gonna have it checked it again... kapag matagal naka park yung vehicle... minimal ung noise... pero kapag matagal nang ginamit and am parking/manuevering... rinig na rinig kapag nakabukas ang bintana. :seeth:
