dont know if its the right term.. im referring to the sound created between the tire and the road.. pansin ko kasi na parang masyadong malakas yung sa akin lalo na kapag hi-way speed na ako.. ok lang kapag aspalto yung daan, pero kapag naging rough na yung road surface ang ingay na.
can you suggest anything to lessen this noise.. pina undercoat ko na pero di gaanong nabawasan. do i have to change tires? ... salamatzzz..

changing to better tires will do wonders to road noise (recommend: bridgestone turanzas GR50 SS).

you can also spray on sound proofing materials sprayed on like anti-rust (ask zeibart) which also lessens road noise ... but the tires are your best bet.

My best bet is that your tires are Goodyear NCT3's. Ganyan din ang problema ko. Grabe talaga road noise ng mga tires na yan. Balak ko rin
mag switch to Bridgestone Turanza pero tiis muna ko ngayon kasi sayang bago pa mga NCT3's ko.

ako nct3 din dati sobra talaga ingay and madali pang mag crack and 1 1/2 year pa lang. trade in ko sa evanheslista pasay for bridgestone turanza prinesyuhan ng 750/tire.

All new Corolla Altis use Goodyear NCT5 now... Any feedback for that tire?... grip, roadnoise, durability?

Some low profile tires with strong side walls and ZR rated always make significantly more noise than all season tires.

usually nga sa tire yan... although the design of the car itself contributes a lot too. yung ibang cars, like the EK civic, talagang pumapasok yung road noise as if kakaunti yung insulation (from experience)...

may ibang surfaces naman na talagang maingay... usually ito yung coarse na asphalt. you'll hear the droning noise in any car, pero syempre, more in others.

Use acoustifoam sa flooring underneath your carpets. Great for acoustic insulation and thermal resistance.
