If you are using stock-sized pistons, and lumaki na ang butas ng cylinders, a sleeve will work.

But sometimes you have to overbore to insert the correct sleeve so pareho mo din gagawin. hehehe.

Kapag rebore, you will be using larger pistons. Dapat take into consideration mo ang wall thickness. Baka masyado na maging manipis after boring.

    For what car?

For American and Euro cars, Mahle pistons and Federal Mogul are the norm.
For high performance, Mahle forged pistons and JE Forged Pistons are ok.

kung naturally aspirated lang to and you're not planning to go custom force induction.Boring and honing will be fine.

IMO it's best that your trusted machinist to decide since it's all factors of measurements and economics

re-bore, slight increase in power, increase in consumption,

easily overheat unless upgrade to a bigger radiator, in short

    malaki gastos.

    kasing bago.

pagkaalam ko rebore is good for gasoline engine but up to a certain degree while sleeve is mostly use for diesel engines.
