May 15th, 2006 09:35 PM #11unfortunately, the philippines did not stick to the worldwide obd implementation. 1996-2000 hondas do not have obd ports. other cars naman have their own things going on where you need vehicle specific sockets to read their data.
i think you're safer betting on obd ports on cars 2001 and up na.
on nissans tho, may special sockets sila and depending on whether the car has a can-bus or not you may not be able to read it with the obd reader.

April 18th, 2011 12:27 PM #16i got the 3.15version..
sana they would release xgauge that will compute kpl not in lhk na.. whats the difference between the 3.17 and 3.15? scangauge.com and scangauge.ph offers 3.15 lang, sa au. 3.17 na.
try using the fuel level percentage para wala na calibration

June 19th, 2011 02:17 PM #17As per Phils site, they are offering 3.17? or maybe new release ito?
3.15 to 3.17 some minor bug fix lang. Here are the firmware history:
source Ample Outdoors
Versions 3.0 to 3.14 - Base ScanGauge features were in place, minor technical changes were made to prepare for X-Gauge release.
Version 3.15 - (2007) X-Gauge functionality added.
Version 3.16 - (~2009) AVG and TFC X-Gauges included in firmware.
Version 3.17 - (2009) Minor bugfix release for the Gallons/Litres to Empty X-Gauge, sometimes the word Gallons or Litres would flash across the Gauge screen on some vehicles.
Version 3.17mb - (05/2010) Minor bugfix release for some vehicles that use the KWPF protocol (particularly vehicles that used a Mercedes Benz engine) Fixes a timing issue that prevented the SGII connecting to some KWPF vehicles.
Version 4.02 - (04/2011) Major release. Changes to menu system and setup options. Turbo Boost gauge and Horsepower gauge added as standard gauges. Performance Monitor added - record, save and playback up to 8 performance runs. Revisions to Trouble Code clearing protocols. Fuel consumption can now be displayed in kilometres per litre or Litres per 100 km. Alternate method for clearing DTCs. Horsepower gauge adjustment. Changes to the on screen Menu structure
They have the cute version scanguage-e. I dont like the size, maliit na at 2 gauges lang ang display.
