is laminated condenser better than the normal type?

Good day mga pre. Last week i went to an aircon shop and have my aircon check. D daw masyado lumalamig aircon ko at baka daw hindi na original condenser nya. In short, they advice me to but laminated condenser. What really is the effect of laminated condenser from the normal type? my car is a 97 Lancer Glxi....

Hindi kaya evaporator ang ibig niya sabihin? Condenser kasi is yung part in the engine bay. May laminated na ba nun? Evaporator naman is the cooling part under the dashboard.

Marami ngang nagsasabi na ok ang laminated evaporator. But the price of those 'laminated type' is way over the price of a conventional type. So the cost/benefit ratio is not really in my favor. A conventional cooling coil is adequate for my application.

Maybe you just need some a/c cleaning or replacement of smaller components? Nothing as major as an evap swap.

Mahal ba yang condenser na yan? My ride is a sentra LEC ang nangyayari pag tumatakbo ay "MEDYO" malamig siya pero pag nakahinto sa traffic eh nawawala talaga ang lamig I read here somewhere na baka condenser daw. Di ko pa siya napatignan at wala pa budget baka kasi mahal.

Kung lumalamig habang umaandar at umiinit while stopped, usually aux fan problem iyan. Nangyari na din iyan dun sa B13 (LEC body) na ginagamit namin sa Caloocan. Aux fan din ang problem.

Minsan umaandar nga aux fan pero madumi naman yung condenser na hinahanginan niya so less effective.

Php3,500.00 ata ang evaporator. Wala pang nasiraan ng condenser dito. Kahit yung mga 80's and below na sasakyan kaya bihira ako mag-suspetsa na condenser ang salarin.

Yup, pwede mo naman ipa-diagnose kay Mar.

Nung pinarepair ninyo yung sentra ninyo with the same problem with mine magkano inabot? Nung ma aquire ko kasi itong car ay super lamig talaga ang aircon (na pag sinbing nissan lamig talaga aircon) until magyari na nga ito.

Replacement of aux fan is typically charged Php1,500.00. They'll clean the condenser in the process using compressed air and whatever cleaning solution they happen to have lying around if you request them to do so.

May sira yung compressor nung Sentra. Nasa Php6k ang replacement compressor, Php8k kung original. Surplus pareho. Estimate is all-in kasama parts, labor, and materials na.

baka nga you're referring to the evaporator. may mga laminated na evaporator (vs yung serpentine-type). ang pagkaka-alam ko, mas mabilis lumamig ang laminated evaporator (eg. yung RATE ng paglamig ng aircon) pero humahabol din ang serpentine-type kaya eventually papantay na din ang lamig nila (eg. yung ABSOLUTE temperature).

a while kasi inisip ko din palitan ng laminated evaporator ang kotse ko pero after a thorough discussion with the aircon shop, i decided to stick with the serpentine-type. so far, okay naman ang lamig.
