kaskas sound sa breaks

pag gamit ko ung car may kaskas na tunog sa left front breaks ko, paputol putol ung sound na kaskas.. nagpakabit ako ng break clips kasi kulang na pero ganun pa din, parang lumalala pa ata, la nman ata problema sa break disk, makapal pa ung break pads.. hmm

if i do hit on the break mejo nawawala ung sound, anu kaya un?

parang metal to metal contact ba? check mo yung pads mo, baka nagstick. pwede rin pudpod na yung brake pads mo... time to replace them.

backing plate yung parang lata sa likod ng brake rotor to protect the rotor sa mga stones atbp may clearance yun sa rotor check mo visually baka sumasayad sa rotor.

Meron ding ganitong soung sa Lancer MX ko. Weird, nanotice ko lang itong mga tunog na ito sa mga Mitsu Adventure at Lancer. Di naman common sa ibang models/cars. Ba't kaya?

Chineck ko na rin brake pads ko makapal pa naman. Visually wala rin naman ako nakikitang nagstuck contact sa disc.

Meron din yan sa auto ko, was find out by my mechanic that the problem lies in the hydrolic cylinder of the brake.. the one with gasket..

Baka hindi na pantay ang pudpud ng rotor kaya may part na dun lang sya tumutunog, have it re-faced.
or maybe stuck up ang piston. maybe needs some cleaning. have the entire braking system be check na rin.

i think backing plate. bec there is nothing in the hub assembly that needs heat protection. in the first place, it is subjected to continuous heat while running.... it happened to my car before. i had the ball bearing replaced and the mechanic bent the plate towards the rotor disc. so it grinded the rotor and damaged it. still is usable pero meron lubog on the inner side of the rotor disc. maliit lang ang clearance nito. slight bent or misalignment in installation, it will already touch the disc.

deathlance: naayos naman nilinis then pinalitan ng brake cyclinder gasket ata tawag nun brand senkyu.. pero pag dinala mo sa case, they told me too replace the whole assembly which is expensive.

deathlance: Natanggal ung sound samen by changing the brake cylinder gasket rin. Same as katsudon's.
