Help: Prob W/ Rev

help!
my ride is galant ss 96 m/t.
anu kaya possible problem, matagal mag rev un car...so mabagal magaccelerate....miski tapak ka ng todo sa gas....
mahirap bumatak ang car...
it will reach running speed of 80kph...at rev 3000rpm....
kaso ang tagal talaga magaccelerate...
what could be the possible prob?
san maganda ipagawa? magkano kaya gastos?

sounds like an ECU problem, sana wag naman, baka fuel pump lang.

iniisip ko baka clutch prob...di ba ganito rin manifestation non?

possible din sliding clutch ka if your engine seems to rev fine when not moving...

Search ka about "sliding clutch" para malaman mo symtomas.

yep that's it....rev but not moving...tapak ng tapak sa gas....ala lang...the rev needle jus kept on rising....
nagcanvass ako ng parts...kailangan ba talaga palitan din ang clutch fork? saka kailangan daw ireface bago ilagay un mga bago na parts....

probably the clutch nga... disc, pressure plate and release bearing.

if may extra budget replace the oil seals and pilot bearing narin.

should only take a day to replace everything.

how about the clutch fork and the refacing job? required ba talaga?

ang alam ko mura lang ang clutch fork eh...
refacing meaning the flywheel face? if it costs similar to brake disk refacing, dapat mura lang yun (refacing a brake disk costs like 300) pero mahirap ibaba yung flywheel..

replacing all the clutch-related parts would probably cost around 8000 inclusive of labor.

in my experience kasi almost 6k kung daiken na replacement clutch/clutch plate eh.

tapos yung bearings pa, and the labor..

ito yung prices nung bumili ako ng parts around march-april this year:
pressure plate - 1900
clutch disk - 2000
release bearing - 550
rear crankshaft oil seal - 480
total - 4930

yung rear crankshaft oil seal, yan ba yung facing the clutch plate? dun sa akin, the transmission had to be dis-assembled to replace that darn seal.. so na-dale tuloy ako to the tune of 4000+ for "transmission overhaul" on top of everything else..

at ATCO...clutch fork cost PhP3700...OEM....yikes!
refacing...P1200..yikes uli!
anu ba talaga itong clutch fork na ito????

Pre, tangalin mo yung "element" mo sa air filter, makapal na yung dumi nyan kailangan ng palitan. Kulang yan sa hangin, Rev and problema mo diba hindi speed acceleration.
