Easy-peasy. Let off the gas a little so you can pop it into neutral, then rev it up to the proper rpm if you're downshifting or let the revs drop if you're upshifting.
Easier to do on some cars than others. I sometimes do this in my truck when my feet hurt.Tend not to do it on test units, as it's not my synchros I'm grinding when I get it wrong.
