Kabwenas mo naka kuha ka slot. Been checking since January pa yata, wala ako makuhang slot sa lahat ng branches nila na willing ko puntahan.

this long-line-of-passport-renewals, has been going on for some time now.
i think it is time for the DFA to really do something effective to solve the problem.
an obvious solution is to set up more renewal centers, and/or extend the working hours of the renewal centers.
keep them open full-time seven days a week.
put in two shifts and keep processing folks deep into the night.
hire more workers if they have to.

Our passports were supposed to expire March 2020.

Because of me being OC, we renewed August 2019. Sometimes it helps. Goodluck guys! May the force be with you all.

Same here, I renewed 8 months before expiration but only because I think my passport has to be 6 months valid to travel? My passport expires May 2022 e I plan to leave next month (Oct 2021)

I was able to get a schedule on Jul 15 for Sep 8 at SM Aura. It took me 2 hours (so much faster than DFA Aseana where it took me the whole day) Buti naman 10 yrs na validity ng passport.
