this long-line-of-passport-renewals, has been going on for some time now.
i think it is time for the DFA to really do something effective to solve the problem.
an obvious solution is to set up more renewal centers, and/or extend the working hours of the renewal centers.
keep them open full-time seven days a week.
put in two shifts and keep processing folks deep into the night.
hire more workers if they have to.
kaka check ko lang still no available dates. they still have yet to upload mga dates for october. so abang abang puyatan. haay

I choose the latter kasi if I get sent abroad by my company on business and my passport is expired, that's a lost opportunity that's worth more than the convenience fee.

My Mom renewed her passport this week at SM Aura and it took her less than 30 minutes! I'm glad that over the years the processing time has improved. Though I wish we'd have non appearance again pre 2000s. Even the US has non appearance passport renewal, so I don't know why PH can't do mail in renewals like in the past.
BTW, ganda ng US passport, the data page is like an ID na
Just had our 8yr sons passport renewed last week, off site din sa Robinsons Magnolia, registration was pretty painless (just got lucky?) paid everything online... worth little extra I paid for the convenience of just going to the mall and queuing up there took as less than 1 hour to finish.. Mas mahal pa yung naka in namin sa Yabu after.... [emoji16]. Bug ata sa system nila yu g place of birth as it also happened to our application asked the encoder on site to fix it..

Glad to hear that. I already have an appointment set. I used to go to Metro sa ATC pero di hamak na mas accessible ang Robinsons.
