Bakit kahirap pa din mag set ng appointment for renewal ng passport? Walang available slot for the next 3 months in all DFA branches near our place.

Ilang times nang namove passport renewal ko. Dapat April, then naging June, now August naman. Kulang ata sila tao.

Kapag ba pauwi ng Pilipinas okay lang na near expiration ang Passport? Buti na lang pala hindi ako nag schedule, otherwise baka mabitin passport ko e I need to leave soon

my guess is,
all those scheduled for renewal during the covid quaranteen months but not addressed because of the quaranteen, are being addressed now.
hence the seeming overflowing of applicants.

Yes I wonder how they go about that. Do they have a special line for that? Was actually supposed to renew March 17, 2020, but then lockdown happened. So now I don't know if I can just walk in & show my previous appointment schedule. Not that in a hurry anyway as I have no plans of travelling anytime soon.

Nag renew ako passport last January 29 sa Megamall. Haba ng pila but ang bikis gumalaw, wala pa siguro 30 minutes tapos na. 1-2 weeks yata ideliver amg passport via courier.
Checked the portal January 3 and madami slots 2-3 weeks after.

Ngayon punuan na ulit daw.
Ang hack daw is wait for the last minute of every hour or around 1am kasi doon nagoopen ng slot.
