A bit of info, if you try to switch the power lock with any of the doors not properly closed, the door locks will automatically open again. Its a nice feature especially when you have kids seated near the doors. So make it a habit to make sure all doors are closed and use the centralized power locking switch before driving off.

Also, if you are outside your GL and press the close button on the remote without knowing that 1 of the doors is not fuly closed you will not hear your horn, only the signal lights will flash. It happened to me, I thought my horn was damaged but when I checked I found that 1 passenger door was not properly closed. After closing it and pressing the close button I heard my horn again. Another safety plus for GL.

Musta na mga GL owners? 7.5k pa lang natakbo GL ko pero mag seseven months na. Pa change oil ko na ba? Napapansin ko lang, habang tumatagal, mas gumaganda km/l ng GL. I'm getting 14.5km / li this time from 14km/li. Ang isang reklamo ko lang ever since nung bago GL ko may langitngit sa manibela pag lumiliko ka pero di naman ganun kalakas. Naexperience ko kasi sa revo ko to dati nung mga seven years na.

.... yun nlang nabili ko ang mahal pa naman dito 1,500 bawat pair.

Magkano rain gutter? Dito sa isabela sa CASA lang meron around 4.5k. Gusto ko rin sana bumili pag nakaluwas ako sa Manila.

yep! am also experiencing "langitngit" when turning the steering wheel- lalo na kapag sagad na sagad... i think this is a "factory designed(?)"???
- do we really have to change oil after every 3-mos? paano na yung synthetic oil na pwede naman palitan daw after 10k kms? or anu ba ang ginagawa if papa-check-up sa CASA every 3mos?TIA...

same here, pag naka maximum turn yung manibela ko during reverse parking ay may naririnig ako pero pag ibinalik ko ng konti ay nawawala, I think it is the power steering motor, continuous ang andar nya pag naka full-turn ka. Kaya pag narinig ko nayun ay balik ko ng konti yung manibela then wala na yung langitngit o tunog.

If you are using regular oil then follow the recommendation of changing oil and filter every 3 months or 5k kilometers whichever comes first. Now if its fully synthetic oil your are using, filter still requires change every 3 months or 5k kilometers and the oil changed for every 10k or 6 months. My GL currently uses regular oil and I had the oil changed 1.5 months ago when the odometer reading was only 3.5k after 3 months of use. The SA did the 5k checkup for my GL even when the odometer reading was under 5k which is ok since I only paid 1,070 pesos all in all for the entire parts and service and I was following the recommendation specified in the service manual. I believe that following the recommended interval check up will increase the life span of the GL and will prevent unnecessary wear and tear in the engine and suspension parts through early detection and prevention. If your GL is under warranty, use it when you find a problem early since it becomes a very expensive repair later on if you neglect it, especially if the warranty is past due.

HI ALL..!!

For quite sometime now, my LIVINA is SUCH PAIN IN THE ASS..!!!

The fuel consumption NEVER changed from (average) of horrifying 7Km/L..

I always use the highway since i am from Muntinlupa going to alabang, makati (DAILY BASIS) and it never changed after consulting nissan MANTRADE, they've adjust the idling even a non-technician can do but still never address the main concern, i did travel to bataan and provinces, but it only added 1km, turning 7-8KM/Ltr. I tried to convince them to check the ECU but never got a chance to do it, HINDI DAW GINAGALAW YUN, so there is no chance to check the ECU aside from total breakdown, hindi mache-check yun kundi masisisra. This friday, i will fight for gasoline charges to drive the LIVINA by me in the first route and another driver from nissan and an AUDITOR using the same route to check of there would be a problem on the handling ONLY. iba iba na nag drive ng LIVINA nato pero same FUEL consumption. AT isa pa kung napansin nyo, pumapasok yung hangin and dinig na dinig mo yun labas, even yung paguusap ng mga tao, yung sasakyan naman, hindi yung vibration KUNDI yung pitch ng noise, even yung paglusong sa baha nadiding mo in low speed, the only thing i can see na advantage is UNUSSUAL sya due to the fact na konti pa lang nabebenta, sabi nila nag contribute daw yung LIMITED edition dahil nag palit ako ng MAGS since stock is 15 in. and limited is 16 inch. SO MEANING, 50% yung degredation with the DIFFERENCE OF 1 inch, and sinukat ko yung mismong WHEEL CIRCUMFERENCE, halos PAREHONG PAREHO ng stock na 15. I dont know kung malas talaga or LIVINA is such not a good buy, hindi na-aadjust yung seatbelt, mahina aircon (unlike as NISAN SIGNATURE), no armrest, masakit sa likod yun upuan, walang indicator sa seatbelt(sa initial start lang) walang temp level (indicator lang), yung back seat hindi nabababa ng half( pano kung 4 yung back passenger) eh di kandungan na lang, yung mag control panel (cabin)buttons malayo sa driver (hindi mo maadjust yung aircon vel ng nakasandal ka) and some minor problems, sana maoffset to ng FUEL consumption man lang, na hindi ko pa ma achieve....
