Hi sirs, first time to post here in the nissan thread.
I'm going to have my '02 4x4 Frontier repainted. I'd just like to ask where I can buy
the decals and stickers so evrything will look new?

I have a 4x4 3.2 a/t pickup. Malapit na mag 110,000 kms ang takbo. For the past 2 years pansin ko from 8 km/l naging 7.5 then 7 km/l. Average ko yan for 2013. Naisip ko baka time to calibratde na since ang alam ko never pa itong nacalibrate. 2nd owner ako, btw. Wala kasi sa records ng dating owner. Company car ito so sa nissan libis siya maintained ever since not until nabili ko 3 years ago.

So far walang changes sa emmission and power. Yung diesel consumption lang lumakas. Every 5,000 kms din change oil nko and changed oil, air, fuel filter last year.

San maganda ipacheck condition ng makina? I was thinking sa central diesel along q.ave. How much ba usually cost to calibrate for its mileage?

Was your air cleaner cleaned/replaced recently? An opinion at the diesel shop should help; Malabon Diesel is another recommended diesel shop. At 120,000kms, palit differential oil and ATF na rin yan and i'd suggest you try the ATF dialysis (you can search the thread on the transmission forum; Exalta at Banawe is one shop).

If the emissions is not a problem then it may be likely your nozzle tips need to be cleaned or checked.

At wheel center hub covers, try also calling Advance (Pasay), Yen and Youngbros (Banawe) or Nisway (Ligaya near Marcos Highway) if they may have. Another option is to upgrade your rims... hehe.

guys help naman po gusto ko na kasi palitan yung fuel filter ng frontier ko, ung dalawa po magkasabay, pero tinignan ko po ng mabuti
napansin ko po na yung primary filter(ung may water separator) meron po na wire na nakakabit papasok dun sa filter sa bandang ilalim

Also, san makakabili ng hub covers? Tried asking 3 nissan dealers wala na daw dinedeliver umc sa kanila. Nag hanap na din ako sa nisparts wala din. Pati na din power antenna stock-up na. Universal naman yun tama meaning sa mga audio shops meron?

For regular maintenance, he can buy the parts from shops like Nisway (Ligaya drive near Marcos highway) or Youngbros in Banawe, then have a Servitek do the maintenance work. Along Congressional Ave, he can try Powertorq or Speedyfix in San Juan.

For suspension repairs, shops like Servitek or Wheelers (Banawe).

For repairs to the diesel, Malabon Diesel.

Btw, we are already experiencing severe shift shock ( 1st to 2nd gear kick) ive already visited the a/t thread, any words and thoughts about this before having it brought for check up?

I'll ask my friend who has a 4x4 a/t as i recall he had some shifting problems before. If i we're in that situtation, my first order would be to do the ATF dialysis. Otep's Tito had a B14 Sentra with delayed shifting and when he had it ATF dialysis done, it fixed it; i just don't know kung tumagal.

BTW, as i usually post to Frontier owners, the ride is vastly improved if you reverse the lowest rear molye (the shortest one) then add a nice set of shocks.

Mga tsips! Tanong lang, pag nasa uneven na kalsada kasi si frontier, nag sway sideways. Kaya medyo ingat ako pag nag oovertakr kasi bigla kumakabig Have had the ball joints replaced, ganun pa rin. Any thoughts? Just had it checked sa servitek, ok naman daw lahat. Ano kaya problema? Btw, mine is an 03 titanium body.

Additional question po, may aux fan po ang frontier 4x2 99 model? Kasi po bakita ko sa engine part yung fuse box at may slot para sa aux fan pero wala namang bakakabit ba aux fan, pwede ko po ba palagyan ito kasi napapansin ko mahina na ac nito lalo pag nasa trafic at hot weather totaly wala na yung lamig nya parang naka fan nalang, magkanu po kaya padagdag ng freon at palinis na din ng ac unit,. ^ Mukhang maraming sakit na yung Frontier mo.

- Frontier has no aux fan.
- The fuel filter (primary and secondary) is changed every 20,000kms (OEM or Baldwin would still be the best option).
- Hindi mausok ang Frontier as long as it has been maintained properly; malaking cause niyan ang pag pabaya ng change oil and fuel filters regularly. Possibly also your injection pump may need servicing and calibration given na medyo may edad na yung sasakyan.
- ATF and differential fluid is changed every 40,000kms. you can refer to the owner's manual for the specifications and all the other vehicle service works info/required).
- Have your a/c serviced; it's not the lack of an auxilary fan that is causing the a/c cooling problems. As for cost, depends on what may need replacement.

Thnx sir vinj, hind p naman po ganun kausok pag medyo nirev mo lng sya ng bigla, at hindi nman po hard starting 1click lang po kahit malamig na umaga, l suspct n sa fuel filter nga cguro po at regular naman ang change oil ko at palit din ng oil filter, yung fuel filter nga lang at air filter ang bihira mapalitan almost 5 years na, pero bilib pa din ako sa hatak totally workhorse talaga sya, nagload ako sa kanya ng 750 kls of feeds at wala reklamo..
Yung a/c nya lang talaga gusto ko maibalik yung nissan cool hehe.. Highly appreciated po sir at ana maging active n ulit iba pa nating ka fronty.. Merry christmas sa lahat..
