with EVs... since wala naman exhaust - problem 1 is solved.

an old timer suggested,
"when in doubt, turn off your engine and ask the tulak boys to push you thru the flooded segment of road. you can start your engine when you reach the other side."

i like the old electromechanical diesels.
submerge the engine and it will still keep running, as long as it has fuel and air.
