Had to check if the headline was dated 2010 lol.

As usual, tambakan nanaman tayo ng basura ng Nissan USA. GTR and Juke sales were hella down kaya na introduce dito sa atin. Now kasama na 370Z.

Nissan 37Z, GT-R Sales Plummeted In The U.S. Last Year
Nissan's most performance oriented vehicles, the 370Z and GT-R, have only sold 2,384 and 331 units respectively, down from the 3,468 and 538 of the entirety of 2018, resulting in a -31.3% and -38.5% figure.

Nissan 37Z, GT-R Sales Plummeted In The U.S. Last Year
Not really garbage, I must say. Nissan makes some of the best engines & these 2 cars are examples of some of the best engineered Japanese cars in the market. It just so happens that these are sports cars & sports car sales saw a downtrend last year in the US market while an uptrend was seen in the SUV sales.

Indeed. Even their sedan sales are dwindling. SUV sales continue to rise.
At last may pantapat na si Nissan kay BMW-made Toyota Supra. Well it should be the GTR but it is very pricey. Comparing lang by price point.

In the Philippines, maybe that’s the case but globally it’s a different story. The US market is still the biggest demand for vehicles. In 2019, Nissan is 6th in sales (1.3M vehicles sold) in the US behind Honda (1.6M vehicles sold). The Rogue compact crossover (360k units) and the Altima (209k units) are Nissan’s best sellers.

Price wise maybe you can compare the new Supra against the GT-R but in terms of performance, the 370Z will be closer to the new Supra.

2020 GT-R Nismo versus Toyota Supra price-wise, the difference is more or less Php8M

In other words, for the price of a 2020 GTR Nismo, you can buy Supra and a bullet-proof LC200.
