good evening mga sir. dinala ko kasi sa casa yung auto ko regarding sa (1)speed sensing door locks at (2)clunking door sound - Confirm ko lang sana sa inyo, 1.Sabi nila hindi raw talaga equip nito ang sylphy natin. totoo ba ito?. 2. Pinagpipilitan na normal lang daw yung clunking door sound sa driver side na pinto (hindi ako naniniwala) kasi may sinubukan kami na isang unit wala naman yung ganung tunog. In the end nasayang lang punta ko kasi walang ginawa, pati yung palpak na reverse sensor ko na sinabi nila na pinalitan sira parin. In the end badtrip. (also sent an inquiry email to nissan.ph regarding the matter)

additional lang ok po ba sa Nissan North Edsa at baka dun ko na lang dalhin para sa first 1k check kung pwede. TIA

yeah, ok sa North EDSA, look for Mr Dennis Estrella.

Yung speed sensing lock, parang wala nga. sa Manual, may naka-indicate na procedure pero di ko mapagana. I reckon baka sa Consult ito pwede gawin. Consult yung program na ginagamit nila for our cars.

It could also be because, walang stock alarm itong Sylphy natin. Meron syang anti-theft/Immobilizer pero that's about it (although who pays attention to alarming cars anyway?).

Ang gusto ko na feature sana yung remote start. So you'll know in advance if your car is wired with a bomb or not. I'll try to buy a smartkey with remote start and try to have it programmed. Our car can accomodate 4 (AFAIK) smartkeys at a time.

These CVTs are best driven fast and far. That's my general assessment of it. You're always more efficient when the aux gear is engaged (it increases the transmission ratio and it engages between 50-80kmh). I normally bring the engine at its optimal range (3500rpm) when I'm bored or when I find a playmate. That aux gear negates the rubber band effect kase it's like you're engaged in the lower "gears" when your not yet at 80kmh+ kaya madali sumingit or mag slither like a snake in tight knit traffic.

Unfortunately, the AC makes me sleepy so I roll the windows down when I am sleepy (like I haven't slept yet or something). I notice that when you turn the AC off, the engine seems to have more power. Ganun din ba sa inyo? I drive a diesel before kase so turning off the AC doesn't seem to have any effect since malakas ang torque ng diesel. Ganun ba talaga kabigat ang load ng compressor? If so, sana yung next iteration ng Sentra electric compressor na.

Gamit ngayon ng delagates ng APEC ang Altima at Sylphy, (world leaders ride in BMWs). Police cars are all Altis 11G. I wonder what made the APEC committee to choose the three brands.

after 17mos of ownership, ok naman ang experience ko sa Sylphy. So far, my only problem was the radiator fan but it was replaced right away (next day, it's done). So far, dun ako masaya sa Nissan, madali kausap sa Warranty claims. These days, i don't mind the fuel consumption (it's a big car anway). I don't bother calculating it na. when it reaches 1/4, I fill it up. Mahirap kasi ma-stuck sa traffic tapos di ka makapunta sa gas station. So far, I like Seaoil 97, Total Excellium and Phoenix 95. Ganda ng hatak. I tried PTT once (95) and the engine shook violently for a while. Not sure why. Before that, it was filled with Shell 95. Tried Unioil pero parang mdali maubos.

Sir Horsepower try nyo po yun phoenix 98 been using this on my manual and i'm happy with it. My city consumption at worst is 9.9kms/liter a/c always on.
