hi all- nice meeting all BOSBs last friday sa CHicken inasal.
Yes, ako po yung naka beige na GLS sport. I am eric (balrunner). I submitted my club form and fee to sir glen....kaya lang, i forgot to remind him for a sticker and a shirt (medyo nahiya rin ako eh.).

Thanks to BigBlock (manolo), I was able to purchase from him a rear bumper that I was looking for. Its now installed.

Thanks to TP for his guiding me in my banawe trip thru sms this am- i was able to find a soft cover (rolled up canvas- autoklas).

I'll try to post a picture for those asking what does Beige strada looks -- which is more "mud like" in shade. (i think there is a BROWN color which looks like chocolate na).

so happing-happy ako to be part of the group and also benefit from all the help and guidance. will try to grab a beer or two again this fri if i can. hindi lang ako pwede tumagal since i bring our kids to school sat am (make up for ondoy daw).

again, thanks for the warm welcome--- I cannot tell you have satisfied i am with our new ride. I made the right choice and loving/enjoying every drive i take with the pick-up.

Hi Bros.;
meroon kayang available na protection cover sa rear bay door ng strada bed (outside) kasi lately I noticed marami ng pockmarks dahil sa banga-banga ng kung ano ano, especially if my kasambahay(katulong)loads plants & paso. I had a word w/ my commander to tell d katulongs to be carefull in loading dahil marami ng tatsa ang likod . Baka mayroon kayong masa-suggest na outer protection cover( this is the outside skin of the bay door).

Hi sir RTS, can you post a picture of those pockmarks that you mentioned? As far as I know, there are no protectants for such minor accidents. Dents and minor abrasions/scratches are common on that part of the strada especially if you use your bed very often. I hope we can hear from club members with abused stradas, hehehe.

If these are dents, and you are irritated with it, then your best bet will be a PDR (paintless dent repair). There is a tsikot thread for that topic. You can use the search function.

Problema ko rin yung GLX ko na wala pang 1 month.. pag maglalagay ng gamit yung manang namin.. nakakayod yung gilid sa bed.. nung isang araw lang.. nagka deep scratch yung fender flares ko. Problema pa.. kulay itim yung strada ko kaya halata yung mga kayod... katulad kanina.. nagpa 1k service ako.. pagbalik sakin may mga bonus na scratch sa front doors... sa bahay ko na napansin kasi nagmamadali ako.. maaayos pa ba yun sa BigBert's? At least maayos yung mga minor scratches sa body at yung deep scratch sa fender?

Share ko lang din.. nung Saturday ng madaling araw.. meron emergency sa bahay.. kaya kahit wala pang 1k yung tinatakbo ng strada ko at di pa sya break-in talaga.. hinataw ko na.. grabe.. nag 120kph ako sa mga maliit na kalye.. kakaiba yung stability.. kahit todo liko na control ko pa rin.. masaya na nakakakaba.. hehehe.. astig talaga strada...

Kung deep scratches na kita na yung primer, I don't think Big Bert can remedy that. Paint over na siguro yan. Pero kung ako sa yo, ipunin ko na muna, then after, say, a year, pahilamos mo na lang yung mga dungis. Ako, I have learned to accept that those scratches are part of owning a vehicle. Iniipon ko sila tapos isang pasada na lang.

hi eric, i guess pareho tayo ng situation. I can not stay long every friday's eb because of my kid. he has regular saturday classes that starts 8 am. I was there last friday. i saw you comming in the parking lot as i was leaving. nice ride pare. welcome to the club. i am sure marami kang matututunan specially from the veterans. see you again this friday.

puedeng puede bro... we have ample t-shirt and stickers sa inventory natin... dumaan ka around 9 pm kasi yun ang usual time ng pagdating ni docglen (siya ang may hawak ng t-shirt and stickers)

sir normal na sa mga poick-up ang panay bukol at galos ang tail gate, as for protection, wala pa nakakaisip or design ng ganito, gaya ng mga ibang sinabi dito, ipunin na lang muna at tsaka isabay na lang ng gawa.

yung unit ko katakot takot na ang mga gasgas at tama, pero hindi ko pa din pinapahilamos, parang mas maganda na kasi sa paningin ko yung mga parang "battle scars" niya eh...hehehehehehe pero misis ko naiinis na sa akin dahil dun!!! hahahahaha

Anyway sirs, pano po ako makakasali sa TSCP?May upcoming EB po ba kayo?I drive a blue 2007 GLX strada with some modifcations (but not major), I live in Tandang Sora, QC.I really want to learn more and meet strada fanatics as well.

salamat sa interest mong sumali sa TSCP. usually we have a mini EB every friday 8 pm onwards sa Chicken Inasal sa Metrowalk. you can dropby, submit your application form and pay the one-time membership fee. you'll get a club sticker and t-shirt for free. on Sunday, Nov 22, TSCP will again conduct a Medical/Dental Mission in BF Almanza, Las Pinas City. you can also join us there
