^^^ and you have to remember that the strada is giving away half-a-liter in displacement compared to the 2 other pickups.
Eto nakita ko sa ibang sites:
Dmax Curb Weight (Manual 4x4 - 1880kg) Ground Clearance - 225
Hilux Curb weight (Manual 4x4 - 1860kg) Ground Clearance - 212
Medyo mas mabigat nga yata ang Dmax compared sa Hi-lux and mas mataas ang Dmax kesa sa Hilux...
...looks can be deceiving huh?
that mitsubishi raider has American car underpinnings... Dito nako sa Triton... Pure Japanese tech... sigurado mas matibay to kesa jan sa Raider....
djerms and I went to diamond motors valle verde this morning to check out the all-new Strada.
Comments:
-truck bed is small.
-hard plastics surround the interior
-ABS and twin airbags even on the base model is a plus
-screen navigation on the hi-end model is also a plus
-I like the dark colored fabrics.
-ample legroom at the rear
-good seating position for rear passengers

wow! IMO, it looks better than any other pickup in the market.
"it has attitude" ika-nga... btw, nice pics Carlo, kelan kaya ang test drive ng Mitsubishi sa da'fort.
wow! very nice in and out but i notice sa pictures pang right hand drive yung letters sa a/t transmission. shouldn't it be on the left?![]()
Thanks for accompanying me Carlo...hehe, naextra pa yung Dmax ko sa first pic.
Well here's what I have to say in addition to Carlo's initial reviews (wala pa kasing test drive):
1. I don't like the plasticky interior and exterior (even for the loaded model). Also noticed a very cheap chromed sidemirror. (depends on personal preference)
2. Navigation screen, Tire pressure monitor (tho unreadable at daytime - carlo needed to cover it with his palm to be able to read the indications), and power rearview mirror is indeed a plus (unique in its class)
3. Rear seats are the best in its class...spacious and SUV like (compared to the Dmax's upright rear seats)
4. Front seats lack ample lumbar support (better than the Hi-lux but inferior to the Dmax's) - IMO
5. Engine compartment is spacious typical of Mitsubishi diesel rigs
6. Engine noise comparable to Hi-Lux's D4d and waaaaaay better than isuzu's
7. Base model has a 205/70/r16 tires while the loaded has a 245/70/r16s
8. There is an awkward box-like overhang under the front bumpers (where the skid plates are usually located). Not sure if this affects the approach angle of the vehicle.
9. Rear bumper of the loaded model sucks big time (better off without it)
10. Manual 4wd shifter
I've yet to be impressed...maybe the test drive will do the trick but right now...I'll stick with my Dmax.
Guys, these are just my personal opinions. Some may think otherwise:
1. Plastics - this is a plus for some owners for easy cleaning. Aesthetically impaired but practically great.
2. Manual 4wd - is definitely a plus for hardcore offroaders
Carlo,
Alam ko na kung ano ang kamukha ng hazard button ng strada...look at the civic's. Thanks again bro and see you next week.
Hindi ko type yong Mits emblem sa tailgate at yong rear bumper. Pero lahat ok na.
Iyan ba yung high end? High end ata yung nakita ko, ganyan hitsura ng likod. Ganda talaga ng harap. Hindi ko mababa yung nasa Q. Ave., lately madalas puno ang parking. :D
