since u are from pangasinan, may i know if u got ur unit from Motorplaza- the franchised dealer for Mitsu for Northern Luzon? How were their sales practices/procedures? Was ur GLS without the ABS na (kasi to what i know, there were like 2 units of the old stock with the ABS - but i think its sold na)

    do enjoy your Strada!
Sir Ian, we bought our unit at Motorplaza - Urdaneta. installment po..
okay naman po sales procedures.. 3 yrs LTO, 3 yrs insurance..

Sir they offered us the old stock GLS(white with ABS) but the price was mas mahal ng 80k sa new stocks saka madaling madumihan.. our unit was not equipped with ABS.. saka ko nalang nalaman nung kukunin na namin nung unit eh nakita ko ung manual ng mga SA, GLS Sport nalang daw ang meron ..

    Hello!

I just found out all the other features of the stock alarm that Mitsubishi gave me when i bought my Strada GLS sport. siguro pareho naman tayo lahat ng alarm system.

Sobrang dami pala ng features nito. i also got a "powerpoint" version of the manual... I think it is what they used to orient yung mga dealers. There's a feature where you can start the engine with the remote. The alarm also comes with a turbo timer. Plus many many more! I was able to tweek some of the features but couldn't get the turbo timer to activate... maybe I am doing things the wrong way or hindi talaga naka-kabit yung feature. I am still experimenting. =)

Just want to share that ok na ok yung experience ko with Carryboy. Look for Grace Gutierrez of Carryboy. Very professional and will definitely help you decide on the best thing for your truck. =) Magaling din sya mag-handle ng mga installers nila...kaya alagang alaga yung strada mo during installation. =)

If you guys want to have the seatcovers I just posted, you can contact Grace (yup, same name pero ibang person) of Street Tech sa Banawe. She gives a fair price and their installers are very good. Malinis, even the wiring. They take the time to find the best places na-idaan at i-secure yung wiring na hindi masyadong halata. I personally did a lot of stuff for my previous car and installed back-up sensors and a horn with Street Tech.

Share ko lang yung nakita ko sa Greenblet parking... now this is one pimped out ride! Hahaha!

After 3 days of backreading starting from the very first post in this thread, sobrang natuwa ako sa history & mga kwento dito sa thread. I even found out na yung mga recent questions ko ay na-tackle na pala sa previous posts.

Regarding dun sa alarm, pareho ba tayo lahat ng features? I tried the auto start function as mentioned in this thread, pero ayaw gumana. And then, sir bonifyde couldnt activate the turbo timer. Saan nyo nakuha yung powerpoint presentation? Hope you can send it at hqgutierrez*yahoo.com.

Eto di ko napansin na na-tackle sa thread natin: how do you secure your spare tire? I've been hearing about how easy it is to steal the spare tire/wheel. Is there a spare tire lock available like the one at Toyota for the Innova/Fortuner?

sir, afaik, tinanggal na nila ang auto start at turbo timer feature on new units kasi nagkaka-complications pag hindi marunong gumamit, usually mga maids na naglilinis, napipindot at umaandar while in gear. although, pwede yan malagyan ng auto start/turbotimer module free of charge.

sir, for me, simplest way would be to put a padlock on the chain that raises and lowers the spare, it will prevent the chain from moving. it's also a visual cue that will deter would be thiefs. just dont lose the key..

Sorry my friends, Winterpine faxed acpy to the Valle Verde Diamond Motor Service center. They photocopied me a set. I will try to scan or duplicate just a few sections, the critical ones. It will take some time, so sorry nalang po pag-hindi ko ma-post agad.

Thanks for the input. I will try to get my free installation of the 2nd module. I think getting the entire module is important since we already paid for it. Mahal magpa-kabit ng turbo timer and it will take a lot of (what I would imagine) complicated installation pa. Maganda na that they just snap in a the module.

Yup, i tried the auto start, it doesn't work with my unit as well. What I was able to do was to enable the auto lock feature when you leave your car after turning off the engine. gusto ko itong feature kase I would always walk back to the car thinking I forgot to turn on the alarm and lock the doors. I just have a super thin key in my wallet just in-case I accidentally leave the keys inside and the car automatically locks the doors.

I placed a thick chain and lock (yung pang motorcycle) to secure my spare tire. I used to place a padlock at the chain of the spare tire but I fugured that the chain is too thin and anyone can cut it easily.

Carryboy has a specialized spare tire lock for the Strada. It's like a rod that inserts where we would normally stick-in the spare tire rod to release the wheels. At the end of it is a locking mechanism. So yung itsura lang niya is parang may lock ka sa may plate number sa likod. It looks very clean from the back. Unfortunately, Carryboy ran out of stock and would most likely have one next year pa, that's why I bought the thick chain and lock instead.

Hi sir ent_md. Sa Espana Blvd, after Maceda St, if going to Quiapo sa harap ng Mercury Drug - Espana, I saw a shop there na gumagawa ng bullbar. I think you can request for a made-to-order one. Pakopya mo. There are other shops of bullbar maker sa Sampaloc area. Just forgot the name of the street, malapit sa riles. Will update you once I remember. I usually pass by the area on my way to work.
