They had to convert the new units so that there will be an RC out for the steering wheel remote, then they have to program it, its not simply installing it and it will work.

Thanks. I thought it will work like other universal remote wherein you only need to properly press the combination buttons and it will synch with the intended unit/appliance.

You should also use your negotiation skills to get additional freebies, Don't just settle to one dealer, get at least 2 cguro then compare mo offer. Then sabihin mo to each other that you are getting more freebies from the other dealer

Decide also what you want, kasi meron na lalabas na new variant ng Monty, I believe eventuall availabe are 4x2 matic 2.5, 4x4 matic 3.2, 4x4 manual 2.5, and 4x4 manual 3.2???

Muy, Is that what you agreed na waiting time ng unit before giving the down payment ? Kasi kung hindi magreklamo ka sabihin mo dagdagan freebies mo kasi hindi sila nakatupad sa commitment nila or sabihin mo kaya pull-out mo na lang down payment mo sa ibang dealer ka na lang kuha.... pero ingat ka rin baka pumayag ipull-out naku eh lalo pa napatagal ....

yun din. pero kahapon as in konti na lang masisira na remote dahil sa pagpindot ko pero wala parin, di nagrerespond alarm pero umiilaw naman yung key.

Ok sir thanks sa advice. Pinapapili kasi ako ng mom ko between a Monty and CR-V Late gift for my graduation. guys another question if you don't mind when do you use the + and - signs dun sa gear shifter? Sorry for asking I used to drive a manual car kasi.thanks

ganito din problem ng monty ko 2 days after i got it from the dealership. read the link below, post #43

sa solution para bumalik gumana ang remote. pero it happened twice na, so winterpine is sending me the module of the steering remote for replacement.

my unit comes with a free 3 yr LTO, 3M tint, rainvisor, matting, seatcover (cheapy one) and EWD. check with the SA if they can give you these freebies
