I had my power steering oil sending unit changed. It sprung a small leak which I didn't really notice. Luckily, a friend looked under my hood and pointed it out to me.

Share ko lang mga sir I recently had my atf change. Total damage less than 3k labor and materials.

Kamusta yung filter marumi na? Ilang ang milyahe mo ng binaklas yan? Linis lang ginawa sa filter o palit bago?

*Nelany: 100k odo. Yung filter linis lang pwede pa naman kasi sayang daw sabi ng trusted mechanic ko. Oil used Shell spirax yung Black yung bote 300+ pesos ang isa. Result is ganda ng shifting halos di mo ramdam.

*all Sir paano kaya ayusin yun roller ng 2ndrow seat ng pajero jdm? Ayaw kase mag slide paharap nag stuck though naiaangat naman namin yun seat. Thanks!

Sa akin sir 40K ko pinalinis at pinalitan AT filter. Hindi pa naman din barado yung filter but again sa manual eh palitan na daw sa 40K and worth it imho naman. Caltex Texamatic 8888 lang nga pala gamit ko. Pero karamihan ata Mobil 220 gamit? Tama ba?

may nabibili ba gasket para sa oil pan or sealant/3bond lng?

Wag ka gagamit ng 3bond sa oil pan, masyado matagal yan bago mag set kaya mag leak. Just use silicone sealant ... nagamit ko yata was 12ltrs pero full bleed un kasama atf cooler

Ganyan din maintenance ko sa A/T... every 40k palit filter.

ang sabi naman ng mechanic ko, lumalaki raw kasi butas nung strainer/filter ( due to wear and tear) kaya maganda rin na palitan na... and tsaka nakababa na pan might as well replace it with a new one.

Mobil 220 gamit ko... I think hindi naman maselan ang A/T natin as long as tama ang specs ng fluid na ginamit

A friend recently had his a/t pan pulled down and it consumed around 6-6.5 liters of ATF... mas marami nagagamit ATF kapag dialysis style or bleeding.

AFAIK, wala talaga gasket ang pan ng A/T... ang meron gasket yung filter/strainer
Although may nabibili gasket (for the pan) sa ATCO Pasay pero hindi OEM (parang gawa sa cork na manipis)

May gasket ang pan, i had one, nawal lang leche. Pero okay naman, no leak pa din, hi-temp gasketmaker na lang nilagay. 11 liters nagamit ko last time sa manual bleeding process nang AT.

Ah talaga? Kasi thrice na ako nakawitness ng pulldown ng pan (first time pulldown and first owned units) wala gasket except for the red gasketmaker na factory installed (like yung kay pajero02, Im seeing remnants of the red gasketmaker) ...thanks for the info

baka may batch ng units sa planta na walang gasket like mine and yung sa kakilala ko.hehe.

I also used gasketmaker when I had mine done wala naman din leaks.

Yun sa akin walang gasket din nung unang beses na binaba last year. Pero doon sa Bestcolt na AT filter na binebenta nila eh may gasket. Silicon gasket lang ang ginamit nung sa akin.

I use Caltex Delo Silver SAE 40 for my Gen 2.5 coupled with a BD 28 filter or Fleetguard. No issues namam.

Yup mas madami magagamit na ATF pag dialysis. Best is to interchange AT pan pull down and ATF dialysis.

JDM kais sa akin so baka nga puwedeng magkaiba. Also, since may factory installed na gasketmaker, sa nipis nung gasket baka hindi na makita. Siyempre lapat na lapat yan eh. hehe

Pan pull down and dialysis every 40K-50K. tapos yung dialysis lang at wlanag pull down puwed siguro every 20K if madami budget. hehehe

Si testa pala wala din gasket yung sa pan niya. Pero malamang hindi na din first time na pull-down yun. Anyways ang mahalaga may gasket or gasketmaker at maganda pagkakalagay para walang leak sa at pan.

thank you sir.. ganun din kasi nilagay ko ngayon SAE40 + BD28.. natakot lang ako baka magkaproblema since nakita ko iba.. puros multigrade gamit.. thanks
