Nagcanvass na ako and will opt for the replacement of the whole radiator assembly (Original Denso)
Keyser (Cool Charge na pala pangalan ngayon) quoted me 8.5k for the repair of the plastic top...
Denso Quezon Ave. quoted me 13k for the radiator assembly replacement...

Medyo namahalan ako for the cost of a "repair" so I decided to go through with the replacement na lang for peace of mind in the long run.

By the way, the Coolmate Group Denso (Main Office in Makati) does not repair/carry/replace our Pajero's radiator.

Ang meron ng radiator assembly natin (but does not repair) ay yung Den-Aire Group Denso (Main Office in Quezon Ave)

FYI... So for those that will have problems with their radiators in the future, better get in touch with either Keyser or Den-Aire Group Denso.

mahal na pala ngayon. with that price, get a brand new nalang. 13k basta orig Denso ok na. kasama na ba install? have them flush out the heater system as well.

This is good information man! I'm sure a lot of us here have had, are having or will have problems related to the radiator. Thank you very much! I'm keen on hearing how your installation goes.

you need to idle the engine with the rad cap open for around 60-90 mins. aircon on - off once in a while then heater mode din para umikot yung coolant until mag normalize yung water level. add coolant when necessary. para mawala air pockets.

Guys, ayos lang ba pag medyo lumakas yung whistle sound nung turbo? Wala naman siyang pinagbago sa hatak and takbo. Wala rin palang usok. Okay lang kaya ito?

Ganito po pala yung tunog niya.

Or you can drive it around till engine temp is normal around 1km. Park your car overnight, then top-up in the morning .. thats what i do...

Hi to all pajero owners. Newbie pajero owner here. I acquired my Pajero JDM 4m40 (A/T) last December, sa ngayon pinagaaralan ko pa yung sasakyan since ilang buwan pa lang siya sa kin. Planning to do some upgrades and maintenance at the same time.

    1. Last January pinaflush ko yung radiator and I found out na wla pla thermostat yung unit ko, so nilagyan ko na lang. before ko cya nilagyan eh nasa 1/4 lang palagi yung temp then after ko lagyan eh normal na yung temp almost half. pero matagal ba tlga mareach yung normal temp from cold start? yung 1/4 temp halos 10 mins before mareach from cold start. ang tagal ko mgwarm up in short, normal ba un?

    2. San po ba mas maganda mgpakabit ng devils own, sa speed lab or berrima?

    3. Any idea how much manual boost controller at san maganda bumili?

    5. Gaano kadalas dapat magpalit ng gear/differential oil?

    Thanks in advance!

Same tayo ng Pajero sir, so pwede kita matulungan dito.

    1. Medyo may katagalan nga. Baka kasi medyo mababa, should be at least 800-900RPM ang normal RPM, lowest is 750 from cold start

    2. Berrima.

Pero if you have the money to burn, get the original ones

    5. I think its around 40k kms before you change those oils.

Reverted back to my original plan of having my radiator plastic top repaired by Keyser (Cool Charge) because a friend of a friend personally knows the owner (Mr.Keyser) and a lot of items have been done free of charge (as part of their general radiator service)

Working time: 4hours including bleeding time (as pointed out by CB; halos 1 hour ata nagbleed for bubbles/airpockets)

Number of mechanics who worked on it: 3pax including personal inspection by Mr. Keyser (siya mismo nagmando ng bleed)

    Total Cost All in: P6,000

    Overhaul/Labor: P2,000++
    Top Tank Cover: P3,000++
Refilling Viscosity Fan: Free (they usually charge P1,100)
Coolant/Distilled Water: Free (they usually charge P900 3L of Coolant)
Gasket: Free (they usually charge P1,300)
Flushing: Free (they usually charge P390)

**Replace Fan Blade: P1,000 (additional and not part of general service; may crack na yung blade ko)

    new plastic top

    new blade

    old blade (with hairline cracks)

    bleeding period

    leaktest tool

engine operating temp after (espana traffic midday, bumaba pa ng konti temp ko after the service)

Im very happy naman with their service... all things in the cooling system are checked including hoses, radiator cap and thermostat.

Mr.Keyser also mentioned to have the fan blade regularly checked marami raw kasi siya naexperience hindi dahil sa may leak eh dahil nga damaged/basag na yung blade nagoverheat (yung sa akin papunta na dun kaya pinapalitan ko na)
