Thanks raf. Parang medyo naliitan nga ako sa fogs. I was assuming that the DRL would be placed inside/under the headlights but Sir Gary told me na baka magmukhang Christmas tree kaya sa may plate niya nilagay. Here are the output pics...

The stock was halogen bulbs without the projector. The headlights were the first ones retrofitted by sir Gary. Upon seeing na parang balewala na yung fogs, I decided to have it retro too a few weeks later...

Oo nga e. Naka high na kasi kaya malakas at mataas yung abot ng ilaw. I think around 150 meters yung layo ng poste sa tantiya ko. There were even posts that on highways abot sa fourth lane yung width ng ilaw. Sa Star Tollway abot sa kabilang lane at sa fence yung liwanag though you can see na during LOW beams mababa yung cutoff ng ilaw kaya no blinding sa oncoming vehicle/s...

*J did your Grandis come with HID's as OEM? I like the results and mukhang maliwanag, but currently satisfied naman ako sa buga ng HID's ko although hindi sya naka projector.

Pansin ko na R yung plate mo so I assume sa Central Luzon naka register yung car. Sa selling sites nga may nakikita na akong ilan na converted units ng grandis na katulad ng sa akin

Sir by HID I would presume that the latest model of Grandis is already equipped with Xenon bulbs as it's stock am I right? The retrofit setup of the HLs was OEM. Almost the same output as the aftermarket (the FOG lamps) but the bulbs lasts almost twice longer (also costlier) and has better output and intensity. You can also view the website if you would to see the retrofit options of Sir Gary.

The unit was locally bought at Citimotors Bulacan hence the R plate number by the big boss of Viva films which is also the first owner...

*J - yes the newer Grandis units came with the HID's or xenon type of bulbs. If you open the hood you will see a pair of ballasts kaya satisfied ako sa buga since maliwanag naman, but not as bright as yours because pinalitan mo ng projectors while sa unit namin reflector lang.

*Spat - DRL means daylight running lights. Sa US and Europe kasi by law you need to turn on at least your parklights especially kasi foggy sa kanila. So sa kanila once you start your car naka bukas na the park lights. Audi popularized this by using LED bulbs inside the headlamps

The design that Gary made was that the DRL will turn on once you switch the park lights ON. Para sa akin mas OK kasi you still have control lalo na pag maliwanag pa naman or tirik yung sikat ng araw...

If mine does also have the HID already, hindi na rin siguro ako nagparetrofit. Mahina kasi talaga yung ilaw ng stock na halogen lalo na pag highway driving at gabi...
