Happy New Year every one!

Was out of town the past 2 weeks and sarap mag drive. Here is my log for my fuel consumption from my last 4 fill ups

6.12 km/l this was prior to Christmas during the Christmas rush
8.35 km/l mixed city and highway. Went to tagaytay and experinced heavy traffic sa tagaytay, but sa SLEX there was no traffic at all
8.75 km/ mixed highway city but mostly sa highway going to Subic
9.10 km/l purely highway going back to Manila from Subic. FC dropped dahil hataw mode since walang nanghuhuli sa SCTEX and NLEX

Mga Sir, may idea po ba kayo kung kailan ulit mag-bebenta ng Mitsubishi Grandis ang ating mga local Mitsubishi Car Dealers.

Oo nga sadly walang advice. A couple ofnyearsvago they also stopped selling the grandis and then resold it again with the upgrades. Malay ,o if there is demand again benta ulit. Choice mo na lang is to buy 2nd hand. Saw an ad in sulit a few weeks back for a 2011 unit with only 1k on the odo.

ngayon ko lang napansin (rather ngayon lang nagkaroon ng chance to go more than 70 yung grandis kasi laging trapik hahaha)
pag nakainternittent wiper (nasa fastest setting ng int) pag umabot ng mga 65 kph nagiging continuous na ang pag wipe. smart car hehehe

ganon din kaya sa ibang level ng int? at anong speed kaya tsaka magaactivate. sinubukan ko kasing ilagay sa matagal ang interval ng int. tapos umabot ako ng 80 pero hindi pa rin nag continuous. siguro pag faster speeds pa. ayoko nang bilisan pa kasi may mga batang kasama e. hehehe

Wala na yung grandis sa model lineup ng mmpc website. Hehehe

Why did they stop selling the Grandis? what are the plans of Mitsubishi Motors?

Sad to say the Grandis was never a volume seller and this maybe the reason why MMPC decided not to continue selling the Grandis. In my opinion, there is a reakky small market here for MPV's and most families who are looking for 7 seat vehicles would look for Diesel powered units kaya although not an MPV the Innove is really a huge volume seller. Second I think pinoy's put a premium on the macho image over luxury/comfort kaya there is a huge demand for SUV's such as the Montero and FOrtuner.

I see bro. This will give way to the Fuzion with Grandis out of the picture. Maybe they could come up with a Luxury MPV instead.

*retz, i doubt yung sa fuzion since it is an auv and intended to nattle the innova. Hindi ren sya bebenta until they have a diesel version. Sayang the grandis was never marketed properly in our Asean neighbors these vehicles are really popular. Sa tingin ko mmpc is just concentrating sa montero sports

Got my keys already...medyo mahal nga lang. The original price was Php 5,806.08. Since my sister haggled for the employee discount (Citimotors) it went down to Php 4,354.50

I also noticed the wipers in the speed sensitive (INT) switch that as your speed gets faster, also does the wiper. Yun nga lang di ko matandaan kung anong speed siya bumibilis hehehe...I'll try to take note pag umuulan...

*j ang mahal na susi na yan so I guess they also had to reprogram the installed chip para mapastart yung car. So is it just the key or kasama den the ones for the alarm?

Yes Raf they had to reprogram the key to make the car start. Ako na nagpacopy sa Mr. Quickie then nire-program na after that. The key also works as remote for the doors and side mirrors...

*J medyo naguluhan lang ako. So you purchased a new key + immobilizer from Citimotors tama? So yung sa Mr. Quickie nagpaggawa ka pa ng additional set?

my Grandis will turn 1 year old next month and so far travelled 11.5K. Natataasan nga ako, but have been bringing the car to a lot of out of town trips to Tagaytay (1x month) Batangas and Subic (2x). Next gastos is insurance, which I had quoted at 26K and na tawaran naman when I mentioned the price of the others. Ngayon pantay pantay na except for the participation fee some are at .05% while some are at 1%
