May 27th, 2004 09:05 PM #1Who has Lancers with Invecs - the ones with A/T and clutchless M/Ts? Or even CVTs?
How are these transmissions in terms of reliability?
Any negative feedback?Last edited by fenderbender; May 27th, 2004 at 09:31 PM.

PK, how's the invecs of the pajero? is it really that usefull and economically wise in terms of fuel consumption? I was wondering, when will mitsu bring out an invecs II for the strada...I wonder....
I've tried the invecs of the new lancer. It was ok. But then I'd like to test it out against the manual. I don't know. which one is faster? In theory, I think the invecs would be a bit faster since shifting would be smoother. But from take off point, the manual has an advantage. I've tried to take off from high rev on the invecs but failed. What only happens is there is a safety switch which downshifts the rev of the vehicle to 2k before letting the transmission take over... I'd like to know the experiences of other drivers.

Hi guys, I think as long as dont forget to check
trans fluid and never shift in P and R while moving no problem, secure handbrake before

Jet, I guess it is
5 speed kasi yun , as opposed to the 4 speed local AT. That means more optimal gear ratios. Manual shifting is just a plus.
Is it true na may recall ang yaris cross hev recently regarding sunroof issue? Lol.
